I called back and told him I knew it was a scam cause I googled the # and if he really had something for me to use the mail! I recently applied for a payday lone online and have been spamed with junk emails! I believe that is where he got my #!

Same thing here. I have applied for payday loans but not with these idiots. and I am paying the one I have on time. They tell me the same thing. We are suing you. Last week I called an attorney who specializes in these types of things, and right off the bat he knew it was scam (which I already knew too). He says these people are out in Pakistan or India somewhere where they cannot be touched. But the lawyer said that the Justice Dept. is heavily investigating these scammers. today they called me from a 713 number (Texas) but they have called from Arizona too. When they called later on today, my son answered the phone and gave them the lawyers number telling them that's where they could reach me. My son then called the lawyer's secretary and told her what he had done. Haven't heard any thing else today. The lawyer said if they sue me, then we'll countersue! Why don't these lazy a***s get real jobs and stop harrassing innocent people. You can barely understand them and they never let you talk they are also talking over you and then unexpectedly hang up when you ask them to send you documentation.

I received the same phone call from the ron marshall.  He called my cell as well as home phone.  I have no unpaid loans so it has to be a scam.  According to everyone on here it is a scam.  He says before they proceed with criminal charges I need to call them.  I have not returned the call.

I got a call this morning saying I owe this Mr. Marshall, who speaks broken english, that I am being sued  my last 4 digits of my social security, and I am going to court and lose my job.  This is from a dispute resolution center and they work for a law firm.  Got the call from # 845 445-2304.  Really a disturbing call first thing in the morning.  I also, got several calls from others and every time different #'s claiming the same thing and that they are officer's of the court, and they called my job too...all broken english with american names, very hard to understand and they are really nasty.  Especially when I didn't even have a checking account at the time.  Real computer hackers.  One of the other #'s is 617 531-1244.

I have been receiving threatening phones call from this number.  They have been calling me since 09-06-2011 and I have 5 recorded messages that are being reported to our local state police.  With the police report I can put a 7 years freeze on my credit reports.

I received many calls a day at work and on my cell, from the same middle eastern guy claiming I had a loan, he is harassing, threatening. I AM a real debt collector, and usually they will never call at work and ask to speak to a supervisor, I just wish it would stop. "Kevin Watson" with the uber-thick Indian/Pakistani accent claims to be a Bronx County real estate transaction, estate, wills and probate attorney besides a criminal attorney. He gave his NY State Bar # as 38425, which # is far different than the # for the REAL Kevin Watson.  The phony Kevin Watson went on to claim that his fax #, 206-424-0111, is in NY state. Area Code 206 = Seattle WA area code. SCAMMER

Hi. I got a call from my work saying someone there came to see me from a law office of Jeff Morgan. They gave me his number and said he wanted me to call him. I called him and the person who anwered said Jeff was out but this was his associate. He ws middle eastern and I could barely understnd him. He told me that I had taken out a $300 payday loan and I owed on it and if I didnt pay up he would send two police officers to my residence along with a warrant for my arrest. He aslo said he had proof from my bank.I have been upset all day but knowing full well I didn't owe money to anyone, I looked online to see if the number he gave me came up under fraud. It sure did. It was 845-445-2304. After I read this site, I called the number back and a different person answered with a fake loan company name. I told them I was reporting them to the sherrif's department and they hung up!

I keep getting calls from a man who is Asian and has an American name.  I can barley understand what he is trying to say although I heard my ss number and that if I don't pay him the money he says I owe his company will take legal action.  This guy needs to be stopped from harassing people.

I am gettting phone calls from the same number.  The man again has a thick middle eastern accent stating that he is Officer John or Ron Marshall and that he is charging my identity listing my ss# and that the FBI will be coming to arrest me if I don't act on this fraud now.  I haven't responded but I will be filing a complaint with the FBI and letting them know that they are being falsely represented.

I also got a call from this number. He said he's with an attorney's office. I can barley understand him. He left voice messages for me on cell AND work. I called him back leaving a few choice words and to not call me again. He is now harrassing me, asking me if I want his di*k! He told me the only way that he would leave me alone is to change my phone number.

A word to the WISE (I am now wiser) Payday loans are not worth the trouble, you give all your information and it is NOT secure. I applied for a payday loan a while back, didn't take the loan cause the payments and interest were excessively high. I had to put down 2 references. I start getting calls from NY-1-845-445-2304, I wouldn't take the call as I don't know anyone in NY. 2 days later my gf, whose name I used as a reference recieved a call from this number, the person with a very strong foreign accent said his name was Jeff Morgan and asked if she new me, she said yes he then told her I had taken out a payday loan for 300.00$. Told her she would be contacted by the "county" she asked which "county, he told her " a county in you state",( too funny) but she informed him that there were many counties in our state, he  then warned her not to make a fool of him or she would be sorry. She informed him that she had nothing to do with MY payday loan and that she felt he was just a scam artist and hung up on him.  I CAUTION anyone out there reading this, if you are considering a PAYDAY loan, DO NOT DO IT. So you get behind on your bills, they can't eat you and in time you can get caught up, that's much better then giving out ALL of your PERSONAL information that is going to be broadcast all over the internet to hundreds of companies and shady dirty underhanded individuals.

I'm getting the call from a guy named ron marshall from the dispute resolution department. I thought he was serious because I have been a victim of identity theft, but when I couldn't get ant information but fast talking, I hung up. He's left several threatening messages and I've saved them all.

I just got the same call. The guy had a thick french accent and was telling me the same bs everyone else is posting. Could hardly understand what he was saying. Sorry I cannot provide more info than what's already been posted. Has anyone had any issues regarding identity theft from this clown?

i got a call from this guy today, said in the message that his name was steve anderson.  that the issue was at hand was very time sensitive and for me or my attorny to return the call right now!!  then he said if i didnt return the call all he could do is wish me good luck and that it was on me.  so i *67'd my phone and called back.  went straight to a voicemial for kevin watson, i could not make out much more than that though.

This number called my 13 year old daughters cell phone.  When  she asked " who are you calling for"  He went off on her and said " I told you already stupid. I am with an attorney. you owe us money"  Called her names, and yelled until she disconnected the call. When I called back " Steven"  stated that he would " Arrest me for being stupid and i owe money" When I asked for proof, and told him it was a 13 year olds EMERGENCY cell phone the line went silent.  Since that last call he has called several more times- making ill threats.
