Craigslist & Kijiji are NOT eBay. Not what they were intended for. All a person has to do is put in their ad "Local only, In person, Cash only". There is NO reason to take Paypal, Money orders, Checks. If you are selling something in New York, & get an email from San Diego - BIG red flag. If you're running a business, Craigslist is not what you should be using.

I also received a phone text from this person "regarding my CL posting". Glad I was smart enough not to respond back. This is definitely getting out of hand. You innocently want to post an ad for a service or item you need to sell and end up getting a ton of false responses from someone taking advantage of others.

Homeboy got worked by yours truly last week, I strung him along for a whole day and half via text. Wasted a lot of his time
(and mine too) but it was well worth it. Lying thieving cheat.

He just called and does have a thick accent. He also told me he is in DC and in the military.

By the way, "Steve Miller's" phone number he is texting me from is 845-445-7943 and he said that is his "work phone". He originally contacted me from 614-434-8094.

He says his name is Steve Miller and wants to put money on my credit card that is maxed out then submit letters to clients and pay his employees. Says he'll pay me $600 every Friday. But I can't get him to call now because he's "in the middle of something". Said he'll call tonight or in the morning. I told him I want professional references but he hasn't given me any yet. If he is trying to scam me I'll give him my maxed out card so he can pay it off then cancel it. lol I do want to talk to him, though. If he has a thick middle eastern accent and calls himself "Steve Miller" I'll know he's not on the up and up. By the way, I posted typing services on Craig's List and he responded to this.
