Received a call saying he was from Advanced Online Support and had just received a message that I had downloaded critical information and errors from the web. He needed for me to go to my computer and he would tell me how to fix it. Number was blocked but he did give me 1-845-459-2751 and a name to call him back at within 15 minutes. I checked out the number and found that it had been reported as a scam. I did not call back.

Said he was with Windows and told me got report that my motherboard was infected....when I said I would go to my local IT store to fix he said no need...he would do over phone for free. They had a blocked number and gave me the 845-459-2751 to call back on when I asked for a number to call back. Person had Chinese accent. Scam.
