This number calls me at 6:30 Am. I am a senior with COPD and do not sleep well. The call wakes me up and I cannot get back to sleep.

I knew there was something wrong when the guy said that I would get grant money which was free from the govt.  They also said they would not accept checks, and transferred me over to a girl who gave me a name and an ID and wanted me to call back when I had a card.  I was told I could as much money as I wanted and they would charge a card I had $3.87.  They kept saying that this call is being recorded.  Very interesting and disturbing that they had all the ID details like name phone number address and whatever else

I've received several calls from this number.  They never leave a voice message and when I answer, they hang up. Just received another call today and decided to look them up. My experience is similar to the many of the previous reports.

I got a call from this number 845-470-9225 and the guy got a very heavy muslim tongue and when I ask him who he was he hung up. who are these people

These idiots have been calling me night and day, sometimes as late as 8:30pm. Ive asked politely to be removed from their call list, Ive asked not so nicely, Ive asked to speak with a manager. They always hang up. Its always an Indian accent. Such b***s***. When you try to call back, they can never be reached per recording.

Got these calls and all they do is ask for Mario.

Call stating I qualified for a free gov't grant.  Operator couldn't answer how they got my name or questions about the grant. They are a scam...hung up on me when operator got frustrated with my questions. Block the # if you can.

They called my Skype number, so it was easy to block them.  I've found that the best way to deal with this kind of caller is to call them back and then say nothing.  When they hang up, call them back immediately.  They are usually reduced to swearing and threatening within about four calls.  Fortunately, my phone mic can be muted, which means I can hear their frustration but they can hear nothing from me.  It's something of a minor hobby of mine!

This number calls at least 3 times a day; I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  It is getting rather annoying.  I saw another caller say they may have filled out a questionnaire for an at-home business.  I received what I believe was a friend's twitter account that was hacked, it was about working from home on your computer. Stupidly, I started to complete the application to see what it might involve but when it came to the part of "it will only cost you $79.00 to start" I didn't go further.  It was after this that these calls started so I assume they got my number from that.

this number keeps calling me and hanging up I tried to find out who it is through the phone company and they could not tell me please help me stop them from calling

I replied to a work from home ad and started getting lots of calls for work from home, get a grant go back to school etc.  They usually try to tell me that I asked for the information or filled out a questionaire somewhere.  They usually hang up on me I guess because I don't fit their peofile, and I keep asking questions about how thery got my number, etc.

Calller had my info my name and wanted me to apply for a government grant of some sort. I guess it a scam and they keep calling .

this is fraud.  they say the are us financial representing the government for those that applied for grants at federalgrants.gov. They said i am approved for a govt grant but just need to fill out the document to write how much and for what purpose.  They give an address in utah but they have strong accents.  To get the documents emailed they charge 3.45.  My bank called immediately with a fraud alert and the charge didnt go thru and the card was closed.  The charge was tried from cyprus.

My experience sounds similar to everyone else's. I answered and he said that he understands I would like "free money from government grants" I said "ummm, noo" and was just starting to ask where he got my number and the next thing I knew the line was dead. He obviously hung up. When I answered the phone he knew my name too so it's kind of bothersome.

This number 845-470-9224 kept calling and calling and would not leave a message. Finally I answered the call and he was saying something about gov't grants. I asked him how he got my information and he said from my state and that is all I could understand. I asked him again and he said something else that I could not understand. I told him I could not understand him, he said go to hell then and hung up. I have tried to call the number back and the recording says the person you are trying to reach is currently unavailable please try your call again later.

8454709224 keeps calling me the only way to get rid of them is to block their number from you contacts in your personal management account if you have a blackberry or smart phone.

They do not accept calls, and when you answer if they don't like the tone of your voice they hang up.

Missed calls twice. When called back to know  whose number it is they said its free money from Govt. Not sure why is that they do not leave message.
