I received a phone call from 1 (845) 504-7100. I did not answer it but there was no message left. I got online to check to see if I could find out who was calling me and I came across this site with these posts. I'm glad that I didn't answer.

Received message from this number claiming my debit card is frozen.
I filed a complaint with the NY Attorney General's office.

I got the same message today saying Debit-Card frozen call 845 505 7100. I know it's a scam because I don't pay with a debit card. Why the FCC lets these scams go unpunished is beyond me.

I received a message on my cell phone saying metropcs.com call 845 505 7100 saying Debit-Card frozen.
I called the number and the recording wanted my debit card #. I immediately hung up. My phone bill was
paid last week so this must be some kind of scam

my husband received a text message asking him to call this number for his credit card being frozen. although we called that number did not take any other action because we realized that THIS IS A SCAM!. they asked you to follow the instructions and it includes giving more information about your card.

i got the same at 2:07 pm today 7-28-2012. the text message came from5153 debit-card frozen. call at 845 504 7100. according to white pages: (845) 504-7100 is a Landline

i got the same thing about my cell phone payment and call to unfreezeit. then got a text that my cell payment of $40.67 due called cell company...paid in full and actually have a credit of $0.67. very scarey...some one trying to access my debit card. i transfered all of my cash to my savings account, dont have overdraft protection so they access rhe $$$. i am out of town so cant freeze card...need to be able to access funds.

I do not give permission for my debit card to be used by anyone. This message does not relate to any of my transactions, so I have not called the number given, nor will I. I believe this is a scam of some sort.
