Marist College supposedly doing a survey for the Kentucky Primary Election today.  

called Sun afternoon.  Didnt answer.  Added to ever growing reject call list.

Marist College is at it again... call in the middle of my Sunday afternoon, after having been told 2 days ago that I didn't have time and didn't want to talk to them. I think doing a survey, I wouldn't let them get a word in edge wise... Sorry if they're "legit student researchers" but I don't do anything over the phone. No trust there...

A LESSON TO THE WISE:

If you are out of work due to an on the job injury or if you are sick or were injured at home and have been collecting either worker's compensation checks, disability benfits, short or long term disability coverage and/or social security disability, then it is likely these phone calls from 'Marist College' are really from a private investigator or insurance company, seeking to determine if you are at home or are out somewhere.

They may be conducting a surveillance of your residence and if they do not see you come & go, they will want to determine if you are at home because if not, then they won't waste their time by doing the stakeout. But of you answer the phone, they will know right away you are at home and will continue to conduct a surveillance of your home to try and catch you later on if you leave your house.

They will note the time you leave the home while videotaping you to see if you are walking with no difficulty. They may follow you in a car to see what you're up, where you go, what kind of activity you engage in. The lesson is simple: do not answer your phone if you cannot read the caller ID and if you do not recgonize the phone number.

Just because the caller ID may look like the call is coming from a college, it can really be originating from a private investigator who has set up a bogus phone line that will disguise his type of business from being readily detected by caller ID. They are watching you if you are out of work and collecting disability benefits. Beware.

If you don't know for sure who's calling you, do not answer the phone, let it ring, changes are they will not leave a message on your voicemail because they will want to use the same ruse again and again on you if they are not sure whether you're home or not. Just because your car may be parked in front of your home is not evidence enough for them to know for sure you are at home. They will phone you and if you answer, they may hang up or give an excuse as to why they called but they will never tell you the truth.

Received phone call from 845-575-3774 and a woman said she is with some college doing a poll.  I advised you are wasting my expletive time and don't every expletive call me again.  Three days later received call from "unavailable" from the same organization.  I stated I told you to never expletive to call me again and what part of never expletive call me again don't you expletive understand.  This time a man advised he would take me off his list.  If our representatives had any gonads this crap wouldn't be happening.

I got a call from 845-575-3557 after 9 p,m. When i called the # back it said to leave my # for a poll they were doing/ I don't appreciate the call after 9. I have 2 kids who are in school and I have to get up early. I DO NOT WANT THEM  CALLING AGAIN. If its so important they can call during normal hours if they are even legit.

Have received calls from this number for the past two weeks - getting kind of tired of it.  Answered it once and have let it go to voice mail since then - they have left no messages.

This number keeps calling me. They say that they are taking a survey. I told them to put me on the do not call list let's see if that works.

these people keep calling me, when i answer, no one is there.  i am tired of this s***   if a person is ever actually on the other end of the line i am going to chew them out.  this is creepy!

Just got a call from Marist, College, 845-575-3774. Looks like a college in New York according to the computer. Probably asking for donations just like everyone else. Sure don't know where they got my number. Probably bought it from somewhere. I am sick of this garbage. No one has any privacy anymore. I will not buy, sell or donate over some phone call. Why don't they wake up?
