Who are these people?

I would like to first start by saying, this is a scam, or should i say was a scam. the numbers that were used were NY Virtual numbers (DID's) if anyone knows what DID'd are you will know the person responsiable for this is not in NY. I personally Own the DID's that were used for this scam. MY servers were the one that was hacked into to make this scam. I own a International Calling Card Company and the hackers thought it would be a great place to hide the system without being detected. The reason you see the numbers dont work any more is becuase after only 40 minutes of the 6774 bumber being up my Risk Dept found it and shut it dont. The hacker went back in and did it again with the 6770 this time we did not catch it for 14 hours, a lot of people are writing about how smart everyone is and how no one will fall for it. Well let me say that over 9,000 People entered there credit card info, thats the bad news. The good news is on Sept 22nd 2009 at 930AM I contacted the FBI in the NEW York City office and them and I with my Tech Team Started working on this asap. after only one day we were able to track down the souce of the server that hacked into mine and the FBI (Doing the great job they do) got that server shut down and was able to collect all credit card numbers that were entered through this scam. So for you people out there saying no one is stupid enough to fall for it, well i thought the same thing till i seen my log files from my server saying otherwise. if you have any questions please reply to this post but i have to let you know again the numbers are not to blame (6770, 6774) the hackers are.

I received the same message from 6005000012 CO-OP-SERVICESCU stating they have deactived my 4626-52XX DEBIT CARD. And to call 888-871-2166 and received one with the 1-854-694-6774 number also. Must be the same scam.

Same thing I got two of the same messages one from jksobq@att.net and one from cjowsn@atlmtaow01.cingularme.com  I tried entering a fake number too but it didn't go through.  Obviously a complete scam.  I wonder how many real credit card numbers they got so far????

I just got one from "ubxkyw@messaging.sprintpcs.com?: CreditUnionWest-HasSuspendedYourDebitCard.ToReactivateCall 8456946774

I don't belong to ANY Credit Union and after Google, found that this Credit Union doesn't even exist.

My wife and I BOTH received the same text message under CO-OP Services CU.  We are on Sprint/Nextel

Text message from above number advising me a debit card I DON'T have is suspended. Number comes back out of Spring Valley, NY with phony Nextel e-mail address.

I received a text message regarding my personal debit card being "suspended" under the authority of "Credit Union West." The text message provided the number: 845-694-6774, in which to call and "reactivate" my personal debit card. The text message was received from: "mjygyj@messaging.sprintpcs" I investigated the matter under the notion this was a scam. Calling the number the text provided I was answered by a robot with a female tone asking me to enter my personal debit card number. After entering a fake number I was then instructed to enter the cards expiration date and then my personal four digit pin code. after entering a false expiration date and pin, the voice said "thank you" and I was hung up on. this is an obvious scam. Your personal bank would never attempt such a form on contact under federal banking and privacy laws. A personal debit card will never be randomly suspended, only if the owner contacts the bank first and requests it.

Got text message "CreditUnionWest- HasSuspendedYourDebitCard call 845-694-6774 to reactivate"

Obviously SAPM: I don't even have a Credit Union West account.

CO-OP Serives CU has deactivated your debit card call security dept 845-694-6774, no clue who they are and I have no debt card with any CO OP CU
