Have any of you actually gotten the trip?  I'll sit through anything, if it means we actually get a honeymoon, because otherwise we get our wedding night at a hotel and then back to the grind.  I see that people on several sites reference getting the coupons and a watch, but I am wondering if anyone has actually done the hotel thing and how that was.

I rec'd this call (from 782-1400) to my cell phone, let it go to voicemail and the message said to call back "Donna" at the Bridal Awards Center - I called, the person who answered said Donna was out to lunch (@ 2pm?? seemed weird). She said I won an all-inclusive trip from attending a bridal show (which was the Villabourguese in Wapp Falls, NY). She said my fiance and I would have to sit through a 90min cooking seminar at a local hotel and were not obligated to buy anything to receive this offer.
Basically it seems scam-ish, but has anyone attended?? I am not going but was just curious??
When I told her I wasn't interested she asked for my last name to remove me from their calling list, I said NO and she goes "Well I already have it so just verify it with me", I said NO again and said if she already has it then I shouldn't need to give it to her, just remove my # from their list and I hung up.
That made me mad!

I just received a call from these people and I do remember seeing them at the bridal show we went to yesterday. I'm a little nervous it's a scam. Please advise if anyone has had contact with them recently. Thanks!

I posted on another site as well.  Have any of you actually taken the trip?  Is it legit?  What's the deal?  I get that we sit through the 90 minute thing and get some coupons and a watch, but I have not seen any posts from people who actually got the hotel package and used it.

I don't know about these people they gave a whole bunch of info and assured me this wasn't a scam as I did make sure to ask, i went to their website, its one of those cheap looking websites with broken links. They want my fiancee and I to attend a 90 minute seminar. They said that I won a door prize at one of the bridals shows I recently attended. I called the place where I attended the bridal show and they said, that they have never heard of these people. So I'm thinking its a scam. Don't know if I should waste my time with them.

It was a call from Chef World Inc, they get your information from bridal/wedding sites and shows that you may have signed up for. It is a promotion to go to a 90 min. seminar and you get free gifts. I am going to go check it out. I have found mixed comments on other sites, but it may be worth it. Here is their website, go to promotions, that is what they called you about. www.chefworldinc.com.

Vika...The product you are comparing Cherworld with is not the same weight, thickness or quality. You need to purchase a set and then bring them to a Chefworld presentation so you can compare them without shooting from the lip. You did receive the advertising gifts without making a purchase, and I must say I'm surprised you are critical on a free watch... yet you are raving about cheap mail order pots and pans.

This is not a scam. I also recieved a msg from the same people, you really have to attaend the semin. and fill out a form and they give you all your gifts on the spot. You listen so some person talk about the products and you are NOT obligated to by anything. You leave with a coupon book, watches and a form to send in for the date and time frame you wish to recieve/take your trip
