I received a voicemail today telling me "Congratulations" and that me and my fiance had won a prize. I was told to call back Marie at extension 2. It's a scam. I think they may have gotten my number because of David's Bridal. I went to the DB in Middletown, NY (845 area code!) and ever since that 1st day I have received countless calls and messages and emails from companies that got my info from DB. It's a hassle and annoying. Shame on DB!

I never give my email or Phone number out- the only place I gave this type of info to was Davids Bridal.  Such a shame that DB is selling personal info like this.  Should be a crime.

I just received the same call as everyone noted above.  I wanted to let those know who get the message, they are saying the same stupid sketchy deal.  Dont give out any information.

I got a call that said they were from Chef world that I won a prize to call Jessica back.  SAme Jessica.  I was given one number and I called it and I got a voice mail message to leave my name and number and they would call me back and that they were busy calling all these other brides back as well.  So I called the number that was given to me in the message that was 845-782-1400 and a woman answered and I told her that I had gotten a phone call and that some woman Jessica told me to call her back.  So I told her that I would call back later.  But after looking up the exhibitioners at the bridal expo I attended and not seeing their name on the list of ppl that attended and I know I would have remembered something like Chef world I looked them up on google and found this webpage http://chefworldinc.com/promotions.html  If you look closely at the site it has no way of you contacting them.  So I am not going to call them back.  Oh scammers you just missed one smart cookie that can research these sort of things!!!!!

I just received a call today from "Jessica" who said she was from an awards center from Premier Bridal and left this number.  I'm happy I googled the number and found these posts!  I will not be calling back.

I also got a call from this number today. "Jessica" left a message saying they had exciting news from a bridal show I was at. Glad I googled the number before calling back, it sounded fishy! I definately won't be returning that call.

Thank you for these posts.  I also went to a bridal expo.  I did ask before giving my number if they sell numbers to other businesses.  I was told that only the vendors at the expo that I gave my number to would get the info.  Guess that was a lie.  I have 2 calls on my answering machine now from "Jessica" saying I won watches and a trip.  Thank you for putting these scams out in the open.

someone from this company called me telling me i've won a big prize and congratulations, and to please call them back. i get calls all the time from some other company called "global advantage" i googled this company and apparently, global advantage is a boiler room scam based in India, all the people who call my home and cell phone have very heavy indian accents asking me for personal inso i.e., ssn# address, ets.. this scam has to stop from these crooks. can the better business bureau or the office of attorney general for consumer protection and fraud help? does anyone know how to stop these people from calling all hours of the day on my home and cell number?

I also received a call this morning from this number. They left a message telling me that I had entered a contest through theknot.com and my fiance and I had won a matching set of watches. The scheme was the same as above; the company was trying to get us to come to a presentation for knife sales, to be eligible to receive the watches. The girl who called was also names Jessica. Don't bother calling back, its a joke and a company that buys the names of the brides-to-be from the different wedding expos around the country.

My fiancee received a phone call from this number stating that we had won a 3-day, 2-night all inclusive trip after registering for it through a website, and to claim the prize we should ask for "Jessica."  Returning the call, we found the company was trying to get us to come to a presentation for knife sales, to be eligible to receive the "gifts."
