I received the same call- and had the same reason ( no CC) as you to not speak with them and to take me off the list.  He actually said F*** You- I asked for a manager- he said he was- then ask if I wanted to F???!!!! This could not be more of a prank companY!! Be careful out there. I have no idea how to report this one- but I am not going to let it rest!

First time I've received a call from this number.  Usually comes from 847-000-0008.  Just a scam like others have reported about lowering interest rates.  Has a strange caller id: v030511442800470.  Just ignore them like every other call from a number we don't recognize.

Invalid Number, SCAM / FRAUDSTER

Received a call from this number on 22 Feb 2013.  Telemarketer telling left a message on my answering machine telling me this is my last chance to lower my credit card interest rate.

Got yet another call from this number.  When I pressed, '9' and asked to be taken off the list.  The guy from India started swearing at me calling me all kinds of names and talking REALLY nasty!  Someone needs to do something about these people!

Received call at 10:53 AM on 2/15/13.  Saw 847-000-0001 on Caller ID; picked up the phone said the following--

"Since you aren't identifying yourself and using a false number, I'm NOT TALKING TO YOU!" and hung up the phone.

I just rec'd. a message from 847 000-0001,  I didn't answer and they left no message.  This comes from all the other unwanted phone calls.  I'm also on the dnc registry, and have an unlisted number!

MOST phone companies allow you to dial certain numbers to BLOCK various numbers.  I have found this quite successful.  The number shown on my caller ID, however as stated herein is NOT a good number, so the low-life which is calling is entering a wrong number intentionally.  It is intentional FRAUD!!

Caller wanted to give me a lower interest rate on my credit card, but had NO CLUE WHO my credit card carrier was.

I tried calling the number back and got an error message.

automated message asking whether I would like to lower my interest rates. when I elected to speak with a representative, and asked the person to take me off of their list, the caller started speaking with foul sexual language. Of course, asking to speak with a manager did nothing...

Typical scammers.  Anyone who puts the wrong phone number on their called ID is guilty of scamming.
Just hang up on these people, or simply don't answer the phone at all.

a man said he was visa company. i told him i didnt have a card. he called me a bi*** and told me to hang up the phone. then told me to f**k off. then he hung up on me!!! i try to call back and couldnt get thu.

Just got a call and the person sounded like he was from India.  When I told him not to call again he started cursing me.  He used the N word several times.  How can you stp these calls?  He said they would start calling at night at all hours.  It doesn't seem the FCC will do anything to stop them.

Got a call this morning from 847-000-0001. It said "no name found". Since I just got my telemarketer zapper and hooked it up, I can now block up to 1000 numbers in these do***e bags trunk line. So one entry to block equals 1000 numbers blocked---just depends on now you enter the number. Telemarketers are the scum of the earth and it gives me great satisfaction in blocking them. I hear a click from the machine as it decides if the number is blocked, then silence. Heavenly. Digitone Callblocker---can't live without it.  : D

I recieved a call from this number and when I told them I wanted to have my number removed from the call list, he made derogatory and sexually explicit remarks about my wife.

847 is an area code for  Jamaica .... mon.

Why aren't the people behind these Cardholder Services calls in prison yet?

Did not answer, a short dial tone was left on the answering machine.

Today I got a call from these people and this time I picked up. Calls had been coming in for weeks now. I asked the young man if he had my phone number if front of him... certainly he had no idea why I was asking, but I was promptly told something that I will not repeat here in this post and he hung up. There must be a way to stop these people

These guys feel that they are above the law and request that you call card member services to  make a complaint and give you the number for  card member services.

I didn't answer the call. When I saw the number I figured it was a telemarketer. Thanks to 800notes for a place to document these pests.

I sure wish they'd catch these fleabags. DISLIKE Rachael. Had those before. The top # was: V1107102414000 then that stupid #. DNC & Unlisted don't matter to these bozos. This was on 11/7/12 at 9:34 AM CT. ENOUGH!

Have received these calls numerous times but never answered until today.  The recording says they wish to discuss the interest rate on my credit card and to push 9 to speak to a representative as today may be the last day with this offer. I pushed 9 and when the pleasant young man answered I let him rattle on for a little less than a minute then interrupted him asking which credit card company he was referring to.  He was a little hesitant then I said, "The only credit card I have is issued through my bank and if there was any offer to lower the interest rate the bank would call, not a second party company." I'm guessing he didn't like that because he hung up on me... quite funny actually!  We have been on the do not call registry for a long time, is there no way to stop these unwanted calls????

Oh yeah, I filled one of these out too...I am on the do not call list. I think I can take them to small claims court....
