i worked there and its not a scam theyre siimply just represantives for the charaties its like they just do the dirty work for them . but at the end of the day they do help out everything they say they do is as legit as it can be..

Called and some when answered asked for me by my first name, like he was a friend.  Said he would call at a better time.

Got a call from this number. Didn't recognize it on caller ID, so I let the machine get it. Caller (a male) said "(my name)? Are you breathing?" in an almost humorous tone of voice. Tried to call the number back twice; no answer, no answering machine, no voice mail, just rang endlessly.

Ya, its horrible that the DEMS passed a great VA bill that the GOP was against.Whats next on your list of lies given to you by FOX/Newscorp.

Caller ID said "Park Ridge IL". This number called both of my phone lines simultaneously. I answered Line 1 and heard "please hold for the next available ..." so I put it on hold and conferenced it on to Line 2 and let them talk to each other.

I completely agree.  I have been insulted by these guys numerous times when they've asked for my wife.  I've managed to screen out most of their numbers thanks to your list using my Comcast digital service.  However, you can only screen 12 numbers with it.  You can forward another 12 numbers, so I've set the 1660 number as my forwarding number and I forward my calls back to them.  What number did you manage to get an answer at?  I'd rather use that number as my forwarding number.

Oh, and you can add 773-922-5436 to the list too. It came through as "Sunrocket DID" today.

First, here's a list of all the number that are on my caller id that come from the same group calling on behalf of Vietnam Vets or Illinois Vietnam Vets.  847-232-3320, 847-908-7040, 708-931-1500, 847-871-0920, 224-425-5200, 630-749-1660, 630-748-1840.  There are also a couple of numbers that come in listed as Chicago Call, 773-922-5407, 773-922-5406.  

The bottom line is that these people should be shut down solely based on their outright lack of professionalism.  Both my wife and I have repeatedly asked to be removed from their list.  We're on the no call list as well, so what their doing is harassment and illegal at this point.  

The group, TAI I believe, has called from these numbers up to five times a day in some cases, including Saturdays and Sundays.  The “boy” I was fortunate enough to speak with today, Adrian, began to lecture me and yell at me after I asked him first politely to stop calling, and then became irate after he became snooty with me.

This company, TAI, is about as unprofessional as they come.  The boiler room atmosphere in the background also is an indication to me that what they do is in no way legitimate.  Don’t get suckered in by these people.  You’ll most likely regret it.

this is who to really complain to...they provide the service.. also complain that this number is slamming.. they give u one name when actually operates under another name...

These idiots called at 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday.  To me, an early call means something has happened to someone in my family.  In a panic, I picked it up to hear "Thank you.  Please wait for the next available agent."  I hung up then but wish I had waited to lecture the "agent" on early morning calls.

Call center, selling stuff, when I pointed out I was not interested just got abused by the caller who hung up, when I asked him to repeat what he had said to my face

I am on the dnc list.  Got a call from this number tonight.  They hung up when I answered.  Caller ID showed call from "Kane Co Call".

CID registered as "Kane County call".  Recording said, "please hold for next available representative" and I hung up.

You can report TAI to www.pfcl.org it's a website that is focused on ending fraudulent telemarketing scams, escpecially when these companies misrepresent themselves and lie just to make a sale. They will track the # and we can only hope one day these crooks are shut down for good! Telenet & Associates Inc is located in Elgin, IL @1595 Weld Rd. UNIT-D #847-760-5001 SORRY, but we don't have any info on the management personal as of yet, but we will post their names once we find out who they are.

So this number called me and hung up so I called back b/c I have been getting a ton of calls from telemarketers/scammers over the year and I'm getting sick of it. Some woman picked up and said that no one had called me. It actually sounded like a residential number now. It was very strange.

This is the second number they called me from, afterr blocking another number. The gentlemen had an awful southern twang and asked for me by my last name. He was very sarcastic when I told him, I was on the line. The jerk called back from a new number, and left a message when I didn't answer stating..."you told me to call back, this is why we don't like too." I wil be doing further research to file a report against them.

The ID said Park Ridge IL. The second time I got this call I went on talk, then OFF, which is what I do if they don't identify themselves or leave a message. Just pick up your phone, don't talk, then hang it up.

Jack and Frank-Get a grip!! He is upset because he asked to be removed from their calling list several times and they did not. It doesn't matter if they are a non-profit agency. He is upset at their lack of professionalism.You would be upset if they called you 5 times a day too!!

Got a call tonight (9/27/10) 8:39 PM kinda wierd how everyone says they get the calls at 8:39. I said hello twice and got no answer, so i hung up.

Several calls now from this number, over the past couple weeks.
They always hang up, no matter how fast I pick up.
Is it malfunctioning equipment or employees blowing off their calls?

Claimed to be a police officer soliciting twelve dollars for a chirdrens activity fund.

Got extremely indignant when I refused and told him we have regular charities and church directed sponsorships.

As the above comments indicate, please find out and stop these people.  We, too, are on the do not calls list which, of course, is blatantly ignored.
