The numbers you have been geting calls from are from a very well renounced acting and modeling school called Barbizon. They also have an agency called Royal Model Manegement. They do NOT contact people unless you or someone else on regards to you got into contact with them.

This lady called me telling me that I signed up or put in a application at one of their events (which I don't remember at all) and she was telling me it was a modeling/acting thing and she knew my name and my moms name and everything. It was weird, so I did some research and found all of these comments and such, now realizing that its a scam.

I got a call about a month ago from this random number, they asked if I wanted to be a model an all the great joys of modeling with there company. I asked the company name an she said it was Royal Model Mangement. I made an appt. but wasn't able to go. The appt. was at a local hotel. Then a few days ago I got a call from a woman named JoAnn. She said they had called me before an that they were really interested in me modeling for there company. She also told me about how they give scholarships up to 100k. She asked if I wanted to make an appt, an I did. its for sunday at 1:30 at a local hotel. I looked up things about the Modeling agencie an they seemed find besides the Baz or whatever modeling group it was ripping people off. Should I go to it ? Or should I stay in the clear of this scam ?

your name is one your number so thats how they have your name but its creepy how they got your number. ive gotten the same call from a little different number but it was for a photoshoot not some abduction s***

- Erika , i don't know how to spell it . Called my phone too , it's shocking to see everybody's concerns about this phone call . I looked up the number only to learn more about what company she was representing . We set up dates & times to have an interview for modeling & acting . She got me to believe it untill i saw all this . It's upsetting to find this out , because I've actually been trying to model & find the right place . I can't believe how much of a scam it is , if i didn't look on here .. i actually would have went !

Girl named Ms. Katie called, asked me if i wanted to do some modeling thing. She said she needed to talk to my mom. I told her i'd call her back once my mom got home. She gave me dates & times to meet with her. I have no idea how she got my name, or my number. She called on my cell phone, and then back on my house phone. Just a little bit weird.

They called me too and had my name and somewhere around my location! they said that i should model and that they want to meet with me to see which industry i should join...

Said i wasnt interested and they immidately hung up..

and then they asked if i was avaliable
and i was like "NO i'm a busy girl!"
and then they hung up.

they called my cell once and asked for someone else other than me......asked them how they got my number and they hung up on me.  If they read this - I have reported them and the number to local Cook County Police Department.  I will press charges and hold them accountable

Okay..they called me and for about three minutes now they've been playing like random love music.. anyone else get this? :P :P

I missed the call too but it's the number for Barbizon Modeling Agency. I guess they wanted me to model but since it is a Chicago-based modeling agency, I wouldn't go out for it. :)

the lady said she was from a modeling agency. a bunch of people i go to school with have been getting this call from the same person.. it's obviously a scam.

ok someone JUST called me. i didnt answer. i remember signing up to recieve information about modeling and from all the responses im guessing its barbizon

they called me also and when i asked where'd they get my number they said someone referred me which is such a lie...a good modeling agency wouldnt start talking about the salary....which is what the representative did when she tried to persuade me to go to the agency.

I just got a call to. They asked if Ashlee was there and I told them they have the wrong number. But I didn't sign up for anything like that, so how owuld they know my name?

A woman from this number called my (minor) daughter and started talking at hyper-speed about about modeling opportunities and how much money she could make modeling for various department stores. My daughter told her she wasn't available. I'm almost hoping she calls again, because I will be happy <heavy sarcasm> to talk to her.

Yeah they called me on my cellphone too, though it was a more similar number, 1 847 241 6673. They knew my name. I just said yeah and okay to everything they said. They would have said their company name if they were a real modeling agency. The creepy thing is how they got my name along with my number.

They called me too. I googled the # and it is Barbizon Modeling and Talent. I don't know if it is real or not. I just didn't call back cuz that is creepy that they know my name and number. FREEKS!

Well, I've gotten called twice from the company, once from the 6600 number, and once from 6625. I think that it is a scam. Why do they have all of our numbers? I asked her what company she was for and it is Royal Model Management.

They just called me, and I didnt hear it, they didnt leave a message, and I wanted to know if it was a company, scared of what I found!!

For the past month I've been getting a phone call here and there from them, not answering because I didn't know the number. I finally answered and it was about modeling, acting, and having your picture taken for ads. If they said the name of the company I didn't hear it. The lady's name was Terra. She kept going on and on about it all. I'm not in any plays or anything. I don't think I would have filled out a form to do somthing like that. It was weird and I said I wasn't home to talk to my parents about it and she told me to have her call back. I asked her if it was a manditory think, she said no and I even told her that I probably won't do it. She said only 10 invitations are given out. I told her to give my spot to someone who wanted it more than me because I don't think I will do it. She wouldn't stop talking! I think a different company sold my information to them. I won't be calling or anwsering them. Oh they knew my age too. Also she said other people in my area were doing it.

Barbizon is real but they make you pay to take classes unless they think you are "ready" so it equals crap

This number just called me. Somehow they knew my name, & then right away this girl named Erika/Ericka? was saying how much money I could get & it could go towards college & blahblahblah. & How there was going to be a meeting in my local area in Acme, Michigan (Grand Traverse Resort), I went on their website & looked at the hotels "meetings". There was no "modeling" agency.. SCAM.
She also wanted to talk to my mom & for me to call her back before a certain time.. I will NOT be calling her back!!! SCAM
