Never give any personal information financial or otherwise to anyone who calls you.  Period. Never "confirm" any information someone is asking you.  You are just inviting scams when you do that.

Called to confirm my social security number. Said they were an asser recovery. My match and phone number matched, but not my SSN. I called back twice with the same guy, Edwin, who got upset that I tried to investigate further and hung up on one instance. I asked for the manager, Steven the second time. Honestly, probably the same voice with a different voice. He didn't give me much info and told me not to worry about how my name and phone number was associated with this SNN

Garbled message-something about collecting a debt. I don't owe nobody nothin.' Best way to handle these a**h***s is totally ignore them. Don't ever make contact with these parasites. Whether you owe something or not, don't EVER pick up the phone and talk with these creeps. They record everything and want to trap you into saying you will pay. F*** them. Forget it and they will go away.

Somebody from this number calls continuously, it is a scam. Beware and do not talk to these people. Ask them to check The Fair Debt Collection practices Act it is NOT ok to call somebody at work legitimate or NOT.

Phone number 847-257-8327 keeps calling at all hours. Finally left a message saying that it is from OFFICE DEPOT collections.

These people are really pissing me off!  I have sent them a validation of debt letter and they continue to call.  Guess I'll be contacting my attorney.  I know that I owe this money and have tried working out an arrangement  but everything they've offered is way more then I can afford at this time.  I was out of work for 8 months and even though I'm working it's at a huge pay cut.  the credit card company has added over 3K to what I owed them which is crap!  I told them I'd pay what I owed them when I stopped paying (due to being unemployed) and not a penny more and they said no.  You'd think they'd want something more than nothing.

"Dad" called - it was like an emergency thing...it wasn't my dad...not calling again.

This number called me today knew everything about me just another rude a** collector that has nothing better to do than bother me.Says they will garnish I hope they dont im gonna call my lawyer and get them for harassment.

The same guy keeps calling and won't say what he wants or why he's calling. He just says that he's not collecting or selling anything. He calls all hours and wants me to call him back that it's important.

received a call from this number today at 10:00am,8472578327 I called back from my cell the recorded voice said "thank you for calling Asser Recovery Solutions."  They will not give any info as to why they are calling only a code that you should give when you call back. Called back and no answer.

Caller left a voicemail where he spoke way too fast. Had to listen to 5 times before I could get the number. It sounded like "Hey Maggie you need to contact your dad at 847-257-8327 thanks." That's as close as I can determine; I've listened to the message 10 times and I still can't fully decipher what this guy's saying.
