received 2 calls yesterday. After I hung up, the person called back and told me there was a check waiting. I said to give it away. Today, another call, same number, and message to call back at the International Claims department.
this ios clearly a scam call from Jamaica.

Rec'd threatening call from Mr Abraham not giving a name of his company or what he was calling for besides an account #.
I don't pick up calls from numbers i don't recognize so i'll never answer this guy.

Rec'd another call today from someone else at work who gave the same number as a call back number.

You people, I mean Animals are Sooo G-Dam RUDE...

Same call on my voice mail.  Called the number back to find out that they are collecting money for Dicks Sporting Goods.  I told them that I am paying a consolidation company to take care of my bills (F.I.R.E. International).  The told me that they do not accept that.  I listened to the B.S. about how bad a consolidation company is.  I never gave them the name of the company (F.I.R.E. International).  I was stupid and forgot to ask for names and employee numbers.  This is what you should and must do in this situation.  The person then started offering to stop all interest today on the account if I would start paying them.  This account was up around $950.00 at first and is not around $1425.00.  That is a lot of interest so I tried to negotiate them down some, because I really do not have any money to pay them, unless they get the payments low enough.  They offered to take all of the interest off if I could pay it all right now.  Of course, if I could do that I would have already done it.  Then I asked them to send me a letter stating what we discussed, so I will have it for my records. I also asked them to put the account number in the letter so I could set up payments through my bank.  They did not want to do that.  The person wanted me to give them my bank information over the phone to set up payments.  I do not do this for anyone, and nobody else should do this either.  The person told me that he hears that line from everyone, and it never happens, just like people stop paying their bills in the first place.  I explained to him that was the way that I pay my bills.  He told me to hang the phone up, because I was wasting his time.  I asked him what he was going to do about the bill and he told me that he was going to tell them that I refused to pay.  Now that is some S%*# because, I did offer to pay them, but my way.
If the collection company is reading this post, I hope they enjoy it!!!!!

mj works for the company. Just another way to scare people. These collection agencies know about these sites. They love to post lies "are taking 700 outof my paycheck every 2 weeks". How funny!

I have no idea who this is. He is asking for me or my attorney to call him back and is referencing a account number that I didn't know existed. He left a voicemail in a threatening tone, demanding a call back. I'm honestly scared to call back because he sounded so rude.

Received a called from this phone number. No one responded when I answered; however, a message was left by a male trying to sound authoritative  and trying to inflect some level of fearfulness in his tone.

got a call from this company, they had the wrong number, mans name was Joseph, was not rude at all, I told him they have the wrong number and he politley appologized and said that they will remove my #.

Called From Asset Recovery Solutions, on behalf of a cc company.  Very loud, very rude, when he was told that this was a place of bussiness, he got belligerent.  When hung up on, called BACK, and called back AGAIN this morning.

recvd call this morning claiming to be a lawyer for Asset Recovery Solutions.

I've been called 5 or 6 times from this number about a debt I don't have from a place I never shopped.  They are matching on name only.  What I could get from them was an address I never lived at and the last four digits of the SSN which do not match.
I can't get them to stop calling and they are threatening and belligerent.
Seems like some consumer protection group should be interested.

got call from this number.  as soon as I answered phone, he said "hello (name)."  I said wrong number and he said he was looking for person or their lawyer.  I said wrong number and he got very rude and stated I had to know that person because that was the number being used and if I knew who that person was again.  I hung up on them.  I'm guessing they're a collections company.

asset recovery solutions. One of many numbers I suspect. Will not give contact info. Just starts talking loud and hangs up.

caller left me a vm from a 212 area code. I new it was a NY area code and it did not match. I will try and get more info. for you.
