I relieved a call today from this number didn't answer. I don't have a Verizon phone so I'm curious as to why

Who is calling my cell number.  I do not give out this number and I am tired of receiving calls from various numbers I do not recognize.  When I call from my landline it says it's a survey and I missed the deadline.  WHERE DO THESE PEOPLE GET OUR CELL NUMBERS FROM.

I got a call from 847-289-3500, it was a Customer Service Rep from Verizon.  She was very polite, easy to deal with.  I had gotten the run around at the VerizonWireless.com website and at a store.  This Rep wanted to make sure I had received the help I needed.  I came off the call a lot happier with Verizon.  I decided NOT to change carriers after dealing with her.

I almost didn't answer, because I didn't recognize the area code, but I'm glad I did, because 847-289-3500 is a Verizon Customer Service number.  I got almost immediate assistance from them on an email I sent them the day before.  Super helpful and fast. plus they resolved my problem in minutes.

just made a complain to VZW  and got this call. Didn't answer, because i requested for email reply for documentation.

I have no idea who this is, they do not I D  themself.  So as for I an concern it is a prank call  I will try to get this blocked.

I contacted Verizon and told them I would be contacting my attorney as these calls are unwarranted and costing me money!!

it was a phone call from verizon wireless about an email i placed to customer service. i didnt answer, since i had no idea who it was from. they left a voicemail stating they would email me. not sure why you didnt return an email with an email , but instead called from an unknown number .

This was a Verizon Wireless Technician calling me back to discuss a service ticket I had called in earlier.

I spent almost 45 min trying to track down there office address from the internet because not one Verizon employee would give that info.

It's a verizon sponsored voice mail recovery system.

A Verizon Wireless Rep name Anthony. He was the most rudest person that I have ever talked to. He is nothing but a racist pig. He told us he didn't care about if our service was crap at our home. When we asked for a manager he refused to get one. He was also sexist because when a female got on the phone to explain the problem to him he acted like she was not on the phone. Verizon Wireless has the most rudest people as customer service working for them. There is something wrong with their tower and they refuse to do anything for their customers. If Anthony won't do his job and help the customer, then why is he in tech support then? It has been well over a year that our service is crap. They expect the bill to be paid but the company feels that they don't have to provide the service. They say sorry for any inconvience. Sorry won't cut it Anthony. Why is Anthony is tech support then?? After we hang up on him, he keeps calling us over and over again. That is harassment communcations. Verizon Wireless doesn't have good customer service.

This is the Verizon Official Herpes Phone Check line. When you answer you are asked to put the phone to your groin. The rep then sends a signal to your genitals and a reading is transmitted back to the office.

i have a $700 phone bill this month for 3 lines (of which did not go over or anything ) and i called to find out why and they told me that to cancel would be 320 a line or they can lower my bill by 30 bux woo hooooo a whole 30 bux....the phones suck and the charges are outrageous,.... I also have a US Cell phone i have unlimited everything and only pay 65 bux a month....i totally regret going with verizon...
