Mine said the same thing, but did not say 90 min presentation. Instead it says "If married or engaged, couples must attend the open house together".
That is when I decided to plug in the phone number as it comes up its a cell phone.

I also got one. Reminds me of the time-share sales offers from the 1980's. I placed mine in the circular file... Thanks everyone!

i got the exact same thing. They wanted me to go to Gurnee to sit through some "OPEN HOUSE" thing. Good thing i called from my work and gave them an old phone number at the office. I live close to Gurnee but told them i lived almost near indiana and they were pretty good about getting me to go to their location...

I got the same notice as above posters. Seems to be the same kind of thing as the Sundance vacation scam. You really do get the free vacation, but only after sitting through the presentation then talk to 5 different reps declining what they are trying to sell you.

I got the same mail as RG - IL. Thanks for pointing out the 90 minute visitation required. I remember hearing ads on AM radio for Direct Buy in the past few years. They sounded like a variation on Costco, in that you get a membership, and they claim to save you tons on all kinds of stuff like home improvement materials in particular. Sounds like they're just trying to sign up some members.

SAME SITUATION AS 'Jeff in MD' - (slightly different details)
This U.S. Postal mail arrived in my actual mailbox, not email.
The 'tiny' return address on the back read:
DirectBuy of Northern illinois

Gurnee, IL 60031
Here is what it said:
CONGRATULATIONS

"Our Promotional Department shows that you have been awarded a New E-pad Tablet, Complete with Android software."
"Our records indicate that by responding within 72 hours, you will also receive a $100 Restaurant.com Gift Card"

"1-847-310-4533

It has an attached "coupon" for a touchpad tablet which warns me that this is not redeemable for cash.
On the back of the coupon it read:
