Called my cell phone.  Computer call.  The computer voice said the name of the company, but I didn't catch it.  Said something like "Your debit card has been de-activated from use for shopping services.  If you would like to re-activate..." I was at work, and I DON'T HAVE A DEBIT CARD, so I hung up.

Received call from this number on my cell phone; the recording indicated that my debit card had been deactivated from use for shopping services; concerned because I DO use my debit card quite frequently to place online orders for clothing, DVD's, etc. I called the number back, but received the following recording: "If this is regarding MasterCard you have the wrong number" and then the call was disconnected.

got the same thing as Carly.  have been getting daily credit union text messages as well, for credit unions that i don't belong to.

Someone at this number called my cell phone at 12:40AM - liked I would answer (duh). "If this is regarding MasterCard you have the wrong number" and then the call was disconnected - is the same response I got when calling this number.

This was a different number, it said the same thing, and it asked me to enter in my debit card number. Thankfully, I had enough "dog-sense" not to, but I'd love to know where this call came from. When I called the number back, "your call cannot be connected". Reverse look-up yielded nothing. The number is as follows, 551-137-5710? or something like that.

Called my cell phone and hung up when I answered.

Got the call today. Filed a complaint with the FCC. Called my bank first and they verified it as phishing, then I found this site.

got the call at 9:30 am; didn't get to my cell phone in time.  Didn't recognize the number, googled the number and got this site as one of the options--thank you.

got the same call yesterday - computerized message stating they were from Highland Credit Union....wanted to reactivate my debit card.  what a bunch of crap - knew it was a scam!

Just got a call from 847-336-6111 on my cell phone.  All it showed was Illinois.  I didn't answer it as I did not recognize the number.  They left no message.  I don't have a debit card as many of you have stated.  I did not call the number back.

My husband was awakened by this 1-847-336-6111!!!! Didn't ansewer it/ It's pretty bad when my husband just purchased the phone,it took 5 days to start calling, 9/05/09 If it's not this number it's another number they use!!We thought harrassment was aganist the LAW??????? Thanks for the new number to add to our list of criminals,it seems that the only type of justice for us is to warn each other.

Rec'd automated call from 1-847-336-6111 Community Credit Union stating debit card had been deactivated and to press one to be connected with the security services.  I just hung up

I got this call last night Sept 3rd 2009. Some kid answered Community Credit something and then said wrong number and hung up. I called back and he answered again same thing but I told him I was contacting the police!

I received an automated phone call at 10:30pm last night about my debit card being shut down. I seriously hope that the authorities catch these SOBs.

The call woke me up at 11:27pm. I to to work at 5:00am.  I hung up the phone when I heard the credit union recording.  I called back this morning morning to complain. Got the MC wrong number voice mail...I'm pissed.

Got the same call at 1 am.  called back and the msg. said if this is about mastercard you have the wrong number.
Husband received the same call day before last.

Yup, me too.  I just complained on the FCC site like someone else suggested.  Let's inundate the FCC so they'll take the b*****ds down!

It is Thursday, 9/3/09, I just got the same phony call, when I entered 1 it seemed as though I was cut off and no one answered. Thank God! Also, I received this call on my cell phone so I called the number back on my regular phone and a male voice (sounded young) immediately said if your calling about mastercard you have the wrong number.  I went to google and found after typing the number in many others are recieving the same old crap from a bunch of thieves on the prowl.

Go to the FCC website.  On the left side all the way near the bottom of the page is a link for complaints.  Follow the directions.  I did that for several calls like this.  They stopped within a week.

I received this call on all my cell phones.  I contacted Community Choice Creidt Union, I used to have an account, and they said that this is a fishing scheme.  They have already started the criminal reporting, and strongly advise not to give any information out, duh.  They also advised that the messages started out with text messaging.

just got same call.  Knew right away it was a scam entered series of random numbers and date.  recorded message said that i can now use my card. this was a call to my cell phone.  BEWARE!
