Received a call from that same #; 847-398-9625... Wish I was able to answer it because I have been awaiting contact from some Cook County people about an important issue. Does anyone know of a way/number I can call them back at besides 847-818-2000? They didn't leave me a clear & proper voicemail and I was hoping anybody had some further information they could share with me.. Thanks guys! -Christian

I received a call from this number today.  They did not leave me a message.  I called the number back on my work phone number and the recording said, "I'm sorry your call cannot be completed at this time.  Please check the number and dial again."

CID shows - Cook County? - hung-up before I had a chance to pick it up!

Cook county board of elections asking if I wanted to be an election  judge again on a specific date.

Called my cell and didn't leave a messsage - funny - if you are trying to get in touch with me, you should leave a message to call back. NOT just waste time dialing!  Seems like a scam to me and they need to stop calling my number.

It's funny I received a call from this number and the call was legit.  Even thought caller ID says this number it came from the Cook County Clerk Bureau of Vital Records Notary Division in downtown Chicago.  I was expecting this call and was surprised to see this number on caller id.  It's possible they re-route thru the Rolling Meadows Courthouse.

I received call yesterday from 847-398-9625. It was official cook county health department calling..

I answered and it was a legitimate call from the Cook County Government offices needing additional information.

Not sure who this company is or why they are calling me I happened to look here and I thought this is no weird coincident that there is a post on here from Blake April 25,2008. I got a new cell number 4 years ago but when I first got it I had calls, texts,pictures & other requests I do not want to mention I do not want to see this kid get in trouble etc... from people wanting to talk to Blake!

How is this and why are they calling me repeatedly??? When I call back it there is no such number! I am on the do not call registry!!

responding to ME  this call is coming from inside a COOK COUNTY facility...hospital,clinic,jail,etc.

We received a call from this number (847-398-9625) and caller ID said COOK COUNTY. As soon as I answered the phone the male on the other end said...oh sorry I must have dialed the wrong number and he hung up.

847-398-9625 calls at 10:23 p.m. friday evening 9/26/08. caller id shows Cook County.

A lady called me from (847) 398-9625 and asked me if I was the victim of a crime 5 years ago, which I was.  She was calling from the District Attorney's office and said I was entitled to a $50 restitution check and she needed my address to send it.  I'll let you know if I get the check.  

If I don't, that means they sent a hitman to my house or something.

Called 4 times on our cell phone this evening during a meeting. We did not answer any of the calls.

i got about 6 calls from this number in the past 3 days. it is getting anoying!

I have been getting a call from that 847-818-2000 number and the man continues to ask me about my vision... and my eye sight from squinting at my computer while doing work....

Got the phone call at 5.30 pm on 27th of Nov 2008 on thanksgiving day evening.
Non returnable number , when called message says call 1 847 818-2000 which is a general 3rd municipal district court house number, located at 2121 Euclid rolling medeaws il.

my caller ID  said  >> Cook County -- i did  factaully verify that number is routine PBX extension belonging to the Cook County GOVERNMENT -- business services department -- like registration Illinois Assumed business names .. notary public registration .. marriage licenses birth & death certicates ETC STUFF -- no worrys no big deal .. 312 area code is chicago but area code 847 is chicago suburban northwest
