They will not even say anything. They keep calling!!!!!!!

I keep getting phone calls from this number - I have been on the do not call list since 2006.
I want them to take me off their list and stop calling me.

This number calls and does not leave a message when the machine kicks on.  The id is same as everyone else - "Illinois Call".  I'm going to block this call on my phone now.  Check to see if you have that option on your cordless phone.  I have Panasonic.  If you block the call, it will check for the numbers you have blocked and it will only ring once.  Cool feature.  I blocked something that comes in 1-000-000-0000.  No way I'm answering that one.

its the Illinois Vet's association. they take donations of clothing for local shelters, once you donate they add your number to their list and wont take it off until you ask them to.

also, dont be an a**. they're a non profit that helps thousands of your local less fortunate. filing a complaint wont do anything because as a non-profit laws against telemarketing dont apply to them

It's not a valid cause.  It's a scam. Got this email today & when I returned the call I got a busy signal:

This number will not stop it is everyday and they keep asking for my husband and won't give me any info and just hangs up on me.  Are they cking just to see if I'm home alone???????
I am sick of this ...it's everyday.  Why won't they stop even after I asked to get my name of the list and also am on the do not call list.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

something about Illinois veterans - they have called me 3 times in the past week - told them to take my name and number off their list

I got a nearly identical e-mail, except the Subject line was "Your Legal Service Needed".  It had no phone number, but when I ran the IP address from which the e-mail came from, it traces back to a corporate server for Coca-Cola in Atlanta.  I'd be interested to know where your e-mail came from.

It's a scam.  I got this email today:

I received a call from this number--also answered on the third ring--I said hello once and nothing more and no one said anything. I think that this is an automated call--but since I answered quickly and said nothing it did not go to the machine. Caller ID said a call from Wheeling IL.

My son answered this call, man said he was from the Sheriffs Dept, needing to speak to me or my husband.  Neither of us were home, I attempted to return the call, out of concern, and just got a busy signal.  A solicitor????

I answered on the 3rd ring & no one was there.  I tried several times to return the call & it was always busy.

I answered the phone and was greeted with a recorded message.  "thank you. please hold while I transfer your call to the next available agent" I immediately hung up and a few short minutes later received a second call from 630-806-8119.  I am also on a DO NOT CALL list, so why am I getting these unsolicited calls?!?

Someone called from this number and no message.  this may be a prank

I received a call late this morning on December 18,2010 from 847-403-1920.  Caller ID said Illinois Call.  I didn't catch the guy's name, but he said he was calling for the Kane County Sheriff's Police.

PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP THEY CALL EVERY DAY EVEN ON SUNDAYS

The origin number was 847-403-1920. Rang 3 times then hung up. Called back several times to validate, and that phone line was busy each time. Seems to be a solicitation call. From all of the posts that have received this call, why has not that number been investigated?

It's every night.  When I answer a machine comes on and says "please hold for the next available operator..."  Galling and infuriating as a method first of all and secondly, its harassment every night.

I sent an email to TCI Customer Service as I believe it is them.  For weeks I was getting calls from them representing many different non-profits.  When I put two and two together I had asked them to take me off their list.  I think this automated calling may be them, too.

This number appears on my phone from calls made at various times.  No message is ever left.  I'd like to
strangle the caller.  Caller ID just says "Wheeling."
