Biff and Grimes Bottom Feeders Inc have been calling for months, if not years with never ever ever leaving a message. It's a little hard to determine who they're trying to contact since there's never any message in any way shape or form. If they'd leave a message I'd be happy to give them her contact info.

It is a debt collector.
I called back and talked to one of the reps, and find out same name, wrong person, so they took me off the list.

Never heard of Blitt and Gaines. I have no idea what they want since they don't know how to leave a message. Too bad for them.

These a***s have actually called everyone with my last name including my son asking for my address. I have no debts and no reason for their calls. I called the number my son gave me and they won't tell me why they are calling unless I give them my personal information. I told them to leave me the hell alone!  I sure hope they do or I will sue them.

I do not live in the state of illinois anymore. I'm in California trying to beat breast cancer.

After reading these posts I guess it's safe to say that Blitt and Gaines are third party bottom feeder debt collectors. They didn't feel it important enough to leave me a message so I'm assuming they called the wrong number. I won't ever answer the phone unless I recognize the name and or the phone number and I can't call you back unless you leave a message. I guess if they call again I'll  have to report them.

This is a legitimate/reputable attorney firm, if they are calling you, it is because you or your phone number is associated with a debt that they are attempting to collect for, if you are recieving the calls in error all you have to do is call the law firm advise them they are calling you erroneously and they will no longer call you, that simple.

Got a call for someone who doesn't live with me.  Asked for them by name.
They hung up after I told the lady that the person didn't live here.  Kept asking for person by first name only.  Finally I asked for a last name and they gave it to me.  The person they asked for does not live with me.

First received a call from (847) 507-1948 and the man said he was a "processor" and wanted to verify an address for my brother, supposed to be so that he can get served for court. VERY strange because my brother passed away almost a year ago!!!!!!
When I told the guy he felt bad and said he was give the number by an attorney and handed me the number 847-403-4900. They always seem to be experiencing high volume calls and was never able to get a hold of them.

I just got one of these calls too today, unsolicited.  How did they get my number as well.  It is not published.

They lied about serving me, so if you get a judgment against you that you knew nothing about, know that they HAVE to serve you with a summons first...I went to court and proved that they did not serve me and was able to vacate the judgment!  They are very deceptive and need to be turned into the ARDC everytime...make sure you know your rights...read the Fair Debt Collections Privacy Act...they violate it by calling over and over and by lying about service processing.

I got a call out of the blue stating I had a law suit filed against me for over $7,000 . I have been working with a company over 2 years and have had no account for what they quoated, He claims I was in court argueing 1 month ago, I think I would remember that.

I totally understand your frustration. I was bombarded by these vultures for a credit card debt that my dad (deceased) had prior to his death. I guess they thought if they hounded me enough I would pay it.  I told them my dad had been deceased for 5 years. And I am not a cosigner, nor will I pay the debt of a deceased person and told them to 'please' stop calling me. They did keep calling of course. I never answer and they never leave a message. As far as I am concerned they can waste their time. I have unlimited minutes. ;-)
I wouldn't myself recommend calling or writing to someones home. Because they probably could say it is harassment. But I will file a complaint with the state. Thanks.

I got the same "hang up if you're not so and so" from Blitt and Gaines for a person that I have no idea who they are.  I will look up their corporate mailing address and send them a cease and desist letter.

I''ve been receiving calls from 847-403-4900 on my cell phone.  They leave messages saying if I'm not Terry Niven to hang up because they have "personal" things to discuss and there will be a pause for me to hang up. He's talking to my voicemail!!!!  Well, I'm not Terry Niven and I don't know a Terry Niven.  "Juan" then says he's calling regarding a debt that Terry Niven has.  I'm not going to return the call, but I want the calls to stop.

good luck with all you people complaining- obviously none of you understand the fdcpa laws at all- why dont you educate yourselves and actually read the contract you sign when you accept a credit card - and pay back the f***ing compaies you owe money too- you are all complaining about companies trying to recover money YOU spent- what a joke- a credit card is not an entitlement you will eventually be sued one time or another for all your dirty spending!!! lol to all you in court without a f***ing clue!!!!!!

What do they want.  I am tired of them calling.  They call all hours of the day and they even called at 8am
