Another annoying call from an 847 area code number... this is yet another.  Very unprofessional and wanted to know my Social Security number!?!  This is a scam!  

If it is FMS, they have no reason to call me.  I have done some research and found that they are rip off artists.

Very unprofessional, very rude and demanded to know my social security number. In addition, the company listed is FMS and I have never heard of them before.

FMS is the collection service for the United States Treasury.  FMS or Financial Management Service collects for any debt owed the US Treasury. In my case it is for the Department of Education on my student loans.  I am not sure what else they collect on.

Many calls.  No messages left.

best thing to do is to do as I did, no caller ID, they are unwanted calls, start asking if they are touching them selves, route a voice recorder thru your pc and then play therre smart alec remarks back to their supervisor and also download it to you tube, the girl thought she was being smart, I don't think she's working there any longer

What is happening is that a debt by someone is sold to a debt collector.  They phone everyone in the country with a similar name.  After six months of telephoning them, they sell the debt to another collector who calls everyone in the country, and so on and so on.

I just got a call from my elderly mom. Someone called her from this number, pretending that I used my mother for a reference. She asked my mom to verify my address and occupation. My mom is 76 years old, and verified without understanding the consequences. This has GOT to be a fraudulent practice. I don't know who this company is, or what they want, but I will sue them if they try this again.

This guy ...no name left...called my tennant and asked if he knew me.  The tennant, refused to give any information and called me to tell me about it.  Talk about idiots, this person could be a stalker/or worse and we will be on the watch.

This FMS comany at 847-413-0508 has been harrasing my parents.

I wish of it to stop and will and I will notify the Attorney General of New Jersey.

It's actually FMS (or Financial Management Systems) debt collection.

I missed a call on my cell phone from this number.  I called the number back and got a recorded message "Thank you for calling FMF.  Please note this is an attempt to collect a debt.  Any information obtained will be used for this purpose..."

It started last week. Different numbers. This is the latest.  I answer and set the phone down.  I HAVE no CLUE. I'm sick of it though and it's my cell # they call.

Called me a month later from Steamwood, IL may be Floyd at 847-413-0326
