Called yesterday, now today

In a perfect world, I'd have an unlisted phone system that would repeatedly phone then, hang up & ditto 24/7
and know which options to select to get to a live person, so as to waste their time, thus causing the same "putting you out of business" time warp they and others like than are doing to me

This number calls all day long even on Sundays at 8 am   I do not have a chase Credit Card

I received call from this number early in the morning on Memorial Day.  Husband just picked up phone and handed to me so I didn't even look at number. Some woman on the phone kept asking for someone but her accent was so heavy I could not understand anything she was saying.  I just said I cannot understand you and hung up. No other calls so far

I don't know why these people call without leaving a message to identify.  I NEVER answer calls with numbers I don't recognize and that is true for everyone I know.  All numbers of this type go on my do not call list and I identify them on my phone as spam.

I just got a call from this number, and I do not have a Chase-affiliated card. While the number that shows up on the caller ID may be a "legitimate" number, scammers are able to spoof a number in order to trick you. If you question the authenticity of a call, It's always best to call the 800# you have on file for your card.

Called Saturday and Sunday afternoon on my cell.Never left a message.

Caller with Indian accent identifies himself as calling from "Chase Cod Services". He says "this is an inquiry, are you represented by an attorney?" I told him "I don't know, I haven't had a Chase Card for years. Do you want money?" He would not answer the question and asked me again, if I am represented by an attorney... I think that if this was really from Chase, I would have been told I have an overlooked account balance, or I have an amount due, etc.. I asked again, "what do you want, do you want money?" Again the attorney question. I hung up because I do not provide information to anyone that will not address the bottom line.

received call to house and cell. Did leave a message saying it regarded a dispute, which we did have with a fraudulent charge about 1 week ago. Not going to call back though, as I don't trust the number (Chase is usually 800 or 877, I think). We called in the dispute and received the new card the next da. Not a single person we spoke to had such a heavy, Indian accent (could barely understand her message). I will wait for any paperwork that comes in the mail regarding the disputed/fraudulent charge.

received a message from heavy, not understandable Indian lady. She also called my husband's cell, but he didn't answer. He does have a Chase linked Credit Card (Continental) and he did have a fraud/disputed item on it, but he had already called it in and received a new card. Even though the caller ID says Chase, I also don't trust it. Let them send us the paperwork for the dispute if we need to. I also don't trust when they have foreigners who barely speak English call (if it was Chase). Perhaps scammers are hacking into Chase database to get some information and somehow making the call look like it's from Chase. We will not call it back, not give out any info.

I received a call from this number, they didn't leave a voicemail.
I called back and it's a virtual receptionist  for Card Services asking for your Chase card account number or social security number.
I've spoken with chase card services and that is DEFINITELY not what it is.

It is Chase Bank. I just got a call about a disputed charge and I got suspicious when they asked me security questions. I called the number on the credit card and they had a record of the call. I got really scared because I answered the security questions but refused to verify my address.

after reading these other accounts thought i  would add mine.  when i call this number i get a request to enter my account info.  since i have multiple accounts i find it odd that they are not specific.  told my banker but she did not respond.  once i called and got someone who sounded like a man from india. however, our phone reception was bad and i disconnected.  now that it appears to be a scam i will no longer respond to calls from this number.

To follow-up, I called Chase using the number on my card, and they were able to verify that the call was made from their security department.

There are a lot of posts here calling this a scam.  However, this number called my cell twice in quick succession, and then my house, which I answered.  It was regarding a large purchase I had put on my Chase card that afternoon, and it made a lot of sense.  They didn't ask for information- they provided it and asked for verification.

If it's a scam, it's a hell of a scam.

This number 847-426-9209: repeatedly calls. Asking for an individual we have never heard of.  Also we have no affiliation to this bank whatsoever...

RECIEVED A CALL FROM THE ABOVE NUMBER LOOKING FOR MY SON. I ASKED WHAT IT WAS ABOUT AND THEY JUST ASKED WHAT WOULD BE A BETTER TIME TO CALL HIM. I ASKED FOR A NUMBER THAT HE COULD CALL THEM BACK AND THEY HUNG UP

I received a voicemail from this number, saying they were from Chase card services and were calling about an inquiry I had made.  They left another number and an extension.  Since I didn't remember any inquiry, I called the Official Chase number on the back of my card.  They confirmed that a message was left on my home number and on this day, etc.  The call was regarding a dispute from last summer that I had forgotten about.  I would say the number in question is legitimate and is affiliated with JP Morgan Chase.

I got a call 9pm on a Sunday from this number. This number is the person who stole info trying to get more info. FRAUD

This is Chase, but they have a horrible telephone database, on top of people not giving their real phone number.

I hate the POS Chase for many reasons. Call then needing help and they are worthless. If you are late even one day with a credit score of 800, they seem to have the manpower to pester you. In my case, they called to claim that I owed them money on five credit cards. No.... I carry no balances.

This phone number calls me at least once a day, the past month or so.  If it's Chase bank, I'm not sure why they are calling me because I do NOT own a Chase bank account nor have I been affiliated with Chase bank in any way.  Also, not once have they left me a message to tell me why they are calling me.

got a phone call from 847-426-9209. Told me he was from Chase. Asked me my mother's maiden name. I do not have any Chase card. Refused to give out any information.
