You can call the phone company and tell them you are being being harrased.  This is not really Chase but a 3rd party that is being paid pennies on the dollars to collect the debt and they do not care if you are the one who created the debt and even tell you they will stop calling you pay the debit for the other person you have never meet before.  

They admit they have wrong person but could stop calling you if you would pay it.   What a scam.  

So why would anyone deal with Chase Bank?

They call many time and lie to you.
They claim they just talked to someone but it's not true.

Chase Credit.  Calling my parent's relatively newly purchased Pre-Paid Cell looking for someone else.  My parents do not use chase.  never have.  Nor do they have any outstanding debt whatsoever.  Nor do I.  They are in their 80's and my Dad recently got hout of the hospital and is anemic, and suffers from pulmonary fibrosis.  He VERY nearly passed out and fell while trying to get to the phone to receive a call from his Dr.  But it was this call then nearly cost him a bunch.  In terms of serious medical problems if he fell.

I spoke to them when they called back.  Extremely rude.  Refused to give me any details about who was calling except that it was Chase Credit.

Will see if they call again.

Will NEVER use Chase again for anything at all.

Just write them Cease and Disease letter and send it to them via certified mail and let them know of your FDIC rights.

chase bank , Well where do I start, I had a Wa mu card . Chase bought out WaMu . First they canceled my wife s card ,and it was in good standing and it was this is not maid up. up the int. to 29.9%  up payment .  Then a year later they did the same with my card. now a year later my former WaMu  biz card coms do .Chase send me one of theres , come to find out that if you actavate it they change all the terms , 29.9% late charges overlimit and just fees. I call to ask about it they where set on there ways .ask if they would drop rate back to at least 11.9% no they said on all counts. I told them I will no pay that rate or charges A nd havent. now they call and call. Wow glad we  bailed em out so they can put the srews to me and all you . DONT USE CHASE BANK IF YOUR WISE??????

It's chase. I do owe them money, but have already worked out a payment plan with them. Its for the past due payments, but they did say it will not stop the automated collections until the past due amount it caught up.

So yes, they call and call and call.  If you have a new Droid, you can save any number and then go into settings and have it sent directly to voicemail.

Just unplug the phone for that hour...they call here daily a few times and phone rings three times only, we don't even have a Chase card or account. This is a Magic Jack number so I don't even know how they got it. and we have no debt for them to try to collect.

This number called me a couple times, and I eventually picked up. There was a woman asking for Sarah Parker? And the woman did not hang up afterwards, I just heard alot of fast typing

I want to be on a DO NOT LIST for this number.  No more harassing.

FDCPA states calls 7 days a week between 8am - 9PM is illegal unless you work different shoift s& notify them in writing when a convenient time to call is.

Unknown and uncalled-for.  I have no accounts with Chase and never have had.  I want something done about these harassing calls and I'm going on the warpath until something is done about this.  The Federal Do Not Call Registry is a f****ng joke and I will not rest until this stupid legistlature can DO SOMETHING about it!!!  Get these goddamm phone calls to STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice in theory but it doesn't work to tell them to stop calling. Also sent a certified letter to them demanding them to stop calling but they still call 8 times an hour from 8 a.m. to 9 p,.m.

This IS from Chase Bank Debt Collections. I have told them I am not "Norma" who they call for. But they call me 5 TIMES AN HOUR from the hours of 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. How do I make them stop?

Hey Norm.  No I use to work for HSBC for 8 years (who also sent 80% of there jobs to India) The law states they can call you from 8am until 9pm.  Any day of the week.  However if you state to them not too call they have to stop calling.

Hey Paul.  Why dont you wise up and realize that these collection calls are from INDIA when AMERICANS are out of work and we have at least 20-25% of AMERICANS out of work.  Maybe people would be working in these AMERICAN companies and paying back there debt if they had jobs and not the people of India.  So get a grip and hopefully you do not lose your American job and owe these people when you have been looking for work for a year and a half.  Maybe these American companies will get it Paul when 1/2 there customers file bankruptcy because they have been looking for work for 1-2 years.

This number is from Chase trying to collect debt they are owed.  Everyone needs to own up and realize if they didnt owe money, chase wouldn't be calling you.

If it's a debt collector, they could at least leave a message, rather then the constant calls everyday when I don't pick up unknown numbers.

I receive many calls from this number.  No identification.  I do not recognize this call.  Please stop.

Received a call from Chase telephone  # 847-488-2002 on April 29, 2010.  We are on the no call list,and our telephone # is unlisted.This is the third call in one week!  These calls create a lot of stress and are very annoying.  These telemarketrs are relentless.  We have been receiving calls from other callers for months.Day and night and weekends also.  We have reported the # numbers, but nothing seems to help stop the calls.

This is NOT from Chase. This person said they were from Chase and immediately asked for my account number-which I did not give.  I called Chase after and they verified it was not from them.  This is a scam so hang up if you answer.
