I received a call from this number on my cell phone. My account has an auto-payment, so it's a scam. Both my internet and my phone are both Time Warner, so if they had an issue with my account, they would've called my home number.

they called me at 5:55AM - that's gotta be breaking some law somewhere (even if they are collecting a bill). no message. can't call the # back.

When you call back; it's a fast busy signal.  I unstand it's from Time Warner and they don't leave a message.

Been getting calls from 847-493-7260. No message. When I call back, it gets disconnected or says 'All circuits are busy'.

Got the same calls from this number.  About 5 of them today.  Showed up as private each time and finally, the last call they left a message to call back this number with a passcode.  Tried calling back and couldn't get through.  Said that all circuits were busy, but something about the recording didn't sound legit.  Called back again and got another all circuits are busy recording but with a different chick's voice.  Shady.

FIRST got calls from a couple different numbers too , then started getting 4-5 calls from OUT OF AREA / PRIVATE CALLER with no number shown and only leaves a message after 4:30 pm with a code to call back 866-295-8689. Message says your bill is due on such n such date the hangs up. I also called Time Warner because their letter bill says it's not due either till a certain date, and they seem to not know whose number this is too.

They keep calling over and over.  Different passcode to use each time.  I called back 866-295-8689 and  entered a code - then they asked for more information - my zip code.  I hung up.  Time Warner says that it's not them calling.  Likely a scam.

Ive seen this number come up as well as the (720) 241-7014 Is Time Warner Cable. I seem to have not paid them last month and My bill is now due. = P

Probably Telemarketer. This wasn't the first time.

I have been getting a lot of these calls, too.  I believe these are political calls supporting a Democratic nominee.  If you are a regular voter, Democrat or Independent, this would validate my theory.

I pick up and they hang up. I try to call back but dont get through. If this is a ligit business I suggest you all go to the BBB on line and make a complaint. Im sure this tactic is illegal

I am sure it's Time Warner Cable.  I got another call from them (automated) later today saying my bill was past due....even though it's not due for another 3 days.

Checked the caller ID like always and let the machine get it. It was one of those automated voice messages claiming to be from Time Warner Cable and that I had to call this number regarding important account information. It gave a different number (866-295-8689) and said to punch in code 647865 to obtain this info. Ya, right. Too fishy for me!!

*UPDATE*

The 847-493-7260 is Duane Reade Pharmacy!  Has anyone used this pharmacy before, if yes, it is 'reminding' you that it is time to refill your prescription.  I have used them before, but this still seems sketchy to me.  

I will be calling Duane Reade now as well.

I get calls from this number and also 720-241-7014.  They both come up as 'Par3' or 'PAR3 COMM'.  One is identified as an office number in Illinois, the other is listed as a home number in Denver, CO!

Ridiculous!  

Supposedly it is Time Warner....I do not use their services, but they certainly have my name and call ALL the time.  

I will be calling Time Warner directly.

They have called twice today. The number they call goes to my fax machine. I have Time Warner and I pay my bill like clockwork at the end of the month. I don't know that their problem is.

Me too...any idea who/what company this is from?

I didn't pick up when they called...phone beeped with a voicemail, I checked the message and there was nothing.  Like they hung up when they were prompted to leave a message.  I don't know why they're calling me, there's nothing wrong with my bill.

I just got a call from this number.  I tried calling back to a busy signal.  I didn't recognize 847 area code so I googled it and found all of you... Good to know it's Time Warner!
