This scumbag is still up to the same games and tried to take advantage of my daughter.  He supposedly found her lost item on Craigslist and was a truck driver and he and his wife "wanted to do the right thing".  He calls from 224-723-6331.  He has used other numbers in the past.  NEVER give up money until you can verify that he actually has your item and hands it over to an OfficeDepot employee to ship out.  Call the OfficeDepot location and speak to the manager to have them verify that he is actually there.  If you make him go through these steps, any "good" person doing the right thing would understand and take the appropriate steps.

The initial calls started out nice and each subsequent call got shorter and he got more upset the more hoops we asked him to jump through.  We never sent the money and waited for him to call back.  He was mad that we "made him to go OfficeDepot for nothing", when actually he was mad that we made him go to Carbondale Walmart for nothing!!  There was no money at Walmart in the form of a moneygram waiting for him from us!  Thank God for "motherly instincts" and Google!  If you have been victim, please post it online to help prevent others from being victim.  Past posts (even though they were from a different phone number) helped us from being a victim.  THANK YOU!

Had my nice watch recently stolen, posted an aid on craigslist, then got a call from a "Michael Bradley" stating that he was a truck driver who had driven through the Eugene area and was in possession of my watch, but was now in the Chicago area.  He wanted me to western union him money and then he would send me my watch UPS.  Was very tempting.  Watch out.

This happened to me yesterday - I was hopeful that I would be getting my wedding ring back, but now I know that it isn't true.  I got the same "truck driver" story as the last person, but he wouldn't send me a picture or give me any confirmation that it was really my ring.  He is predator and needs to be in jail - he used the name "James Wilson" - very common.

Thank you for posting your message!  The same guy just called me and gave me the same line about finding/buying my rings.  By posting this, you saved me some grief and the unfounded anticipation that my rings might be returned to me.
Watch out for this guy!

Just last night I had posted a listing on craigslist offering a reward for the return of my six stolen rings.  This morning a guy just called from this number and told me he is a truck driver & that he bought my 6 rings from a guy at the Troutdale truck stop on I-84 last week as he was passing through.  Thank God I checked out his phone number here online before I made any further contact with him!
