I received this same call just last night.  Total scam!!!!  DO NOT call back from the phone they call you at.  Use another phone, if you are curious.  If you call back from your phone, they may activate a credit card with your account number on it!

They called claiming they werecaloing on behalf of Historia Federal. They said they had left a message at our home and needed contact info from a 'relative' of mine. We asked why the information was needed (email and cell), and he hung up.
Annoying but only one call...so far

I got a call today from this phone number 847-550-7300 today and it is totally a scam.  They asked for address and if we were having financial hardship. They tried to get me to make a payment over the phone!  We have never been late and our payment on our mortgage was NOT late so just hang up on them if they call again and report it to your states Attorney General.  They go after people like this,  hard, at least in Washington state! So many low life' out there.  They need to get a job!

Received a call from this number today and when I answered I heard "the number you have reached is no longer in service" and then disconnected.

They called my place of employment looking for one of my employees. I took the message and then googled the number. Knew I would somehow end up on this website. Said he would know exactly why they were calling. Another scammer call. Will not even bother to give him the message.

Just found out from earlier posts that the company calling is "Safe Credit Union" a division of Dovenmuhle... Next time they call I'm going to answer "Safe Credit Union how can I help you?" In my cheery secretary voice and see if that confuses them.... LOL

We have a home loan with Land Home Financial. We have it set up to pay on the 8th automatically. It's not due until the 15th!!!! They have hired this company to harass people from the 1st of the month until the payment is made. I'm sure many others have hired this A$$Hol333 company too. It's just annoying. We have never been late!!!!

Cold call to my cell phone.  When I answered it, it began ringing on the other end.  Rand four times, then I hung up.

This is a bank/ mortgage company for HUD. Do not avoid thus call, they are telling you there is a problem with your mortgage. Call them, you will be glad you did.

They are the worst mortgage company ever. They call you and say you are delinquent if you don't make your oddment on the first. I have never been 30 days late but sometimes I do use the 16 day period or even if I go a little over I will pay the late fee but never 30 days late. I have never had a mortgage company bug me like they do, it is horrible!!!

Who ever is receiving calls from 847 550 7300 don't answer because it is a scam.

Our payment is due on the 1st and late on the 16th. So I have it set up to be paid on the 8th....AUTOMATICALLY


They called 3 times before the 8th to let me know my payment was due! I finally called them back (I was on vacation) and asked the lady to put a note on my file to address the above statement....

We've never been late (autopay) So what's the big deal???

Also.... That's just a company Dovenmuhle Mortgage has hired's number. The real company doesn't call...... SUCKY!

See next message, it's me, this was legitimate contact from USAA re: mortgage payment, not a scam at all.  Sadly USAA didn't realize this when I initially contacted them, but once I got follow up letter and called mortgage division directly I resolved.

This was a legitimate call from my mortgage company.  Thought it was a scam but I received follow letter and called my bank directly with my normal phone number.  Mix up with payments, made a principal only payment which they inadvertently applied to monthly, had them fix which they did but then never took out my mthly auto deduction from checking for monthly payment so it went into delinquent mode.  If you are getting calls from this number, it is probably collections for delinquent mortgage payments, call you bank and resolve.

Rec'd call, didn't sound on the up and up. Caller id said "Mtg Operations" (847)550-7300 but they left message that addressed us by name and they said they were USAA bank and left the number 877-801-2448 for us to call them back. They left no context for the phone call which USAA would never do, and totally did not sound right.  When I googled the 847 number tons of people getting calls from this number, some hangs up, no messages, others got messages pretending to be their banks (not just usaa) and saying behind on mortgage. Beware, this is scam. I then went a step further & contacted USAA, they confirmed this is a scam, this is not them & they are having tons of fraud attempts via phone by criminals pretending to be USAA. Call your bank if this happens to you, call their main number not the one on your caller id (which can also be manipulated), don't call the phone number left in message,  and let bank know. It's not enough to avoid being scammed yourself, these banks are going hard after scammers and have great resources to do it, so do your part, take the time & report it.

I called this number back and the girl said that they are a mortgage service company. When I asked what that was she said that they service many different banks mortgage accounts. They do the calling and the escalation of foreclosures for several banks. I'm not late! The payment is due on the 1st and late on the 16th.... Today is the 7th!!! I have the payment set-up to post on the 8th with autopay from my bank. They shouldn't be calling until it's late!!! Or when they leave a message saying "Just a reminder that your house payment is due on ____. If you have already taken care of please ignore this message and accept our thank you." But I guess common courtesy is dead!!

They have called me several times . I never answer the call. I have them listed as someone in Chicago. My wife happened to answer the call. Who knows how they get our numbers . They said they are USAA which is a bank that deals with military and former military . The woman tried to say to my wife that out mortgage was not up to date and was trying to get her to make a payment in haste on the phone . Said it needed to be done ASAP . After getting very impatient the woman finally hung up the phone. Scam artists for sure . Here's what I say scammers . You never know who you are messing with. Honest Americans work hard for their money . We refuse to let it be taken away that easy . Ask yourself if its worth it . Get a job .

I can personally confirm that Dovemuehle/Coastal States/Homeowners will screw your mortgage up if there is any way possible that also generates fees/charges on your end.

I was actually surprised that this call was legit. I have a mortgage with Land Home Financial and I requested that they close the impound account. I want to pay the property tax and my insurance with out them!!! Why should they get the interest on my money??? I have sent all of the forms back and they were calling to confirm that they received. The caller ID says MTG OPERATIONS. They should change that to LAND HOME FIN..... or something that people would answer..... The name of the parent company is Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc.. Checking into this company it is disturbing that they are a company from........Jordan!!!

This is a legitimate call to me from Amerisave Mortgage/Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc.  The called ID only said MTG Operations so I searched on it but now listening to the message I realize it is legit.

i am current on my mortagage so please stop calling.  Where do they get thier info... Is this a fraudulent company.

I got hung up on then I called back and got a recording that I needed to call back during business hours. I called my insurance company to make sure its ok. Like I needed one more thing to do today.

This number keeps calling my work phone. Very disruptive! I work for a mortgage company and it seems like this is a Fax number because I keep hearing beeping on the other end when I answer. How do I get them to stop calling me??
