some jerk called. I never pick up unknown number.  This people deserve to get shot.

This phone number along with various other , all in Elk Grove VIllage have been calling, but they hang up, even if you say hello.  Very annoying, as they call 5 to 10 times all in the same evening.  This has been going on for 3 nights now.

No message.  Called back and get constant busy signal.

Got call from 847-631-4977. Comes up as Elk Grove Village, IL on the caller I.D. Woman on phone refused to identify the company she was with. Stated she was calling to advise us that a company is going to take us to court and wants to serve us paperwork. I'm home all day. No one has come to my home. Turns out they have my address from a previous residence from 7 years ago. If a debt collector wants to serve you, shouldn't they have your current address on file? She hung up on me when I insisted on knowing the name of the company she worked for while she reiterated "she's just trying to help us." I also brought up the county website to see if there is a pending court case in my husbands name while on the phone and there is none, which makes me question her credibility. I'm going to assume it's a debt collector call as we do have 3 CC's that we have not paid in a while, but this is the first time I ever in my life dealt with a company that doesn't know where to serve papers (if that's true) but knew where to send the bills. She also wanted me to call whoever she was calling on behalf of to tell them whatever info they might want. Sorry, but I don't do other people's jobs.

they keep calling me nonstop byut wont say anything

At the end of November they sent me a letter that a relative signed a will form. and that i was sopposed to claim something but i need to send $2,500 to an address in Spain. Which i looked up and it is a restaurant.

I looked online on computer on this number and it is somewhere in elk grove village. And doesnt answer at all its busy signal.

just called me, didn't leave a message. i call the number back and it's a fast busy signal.

You have the option of pressing 1 to get some credit line or something or pressing 2 and losing the chance to do #1.  No option is offered to remove my number from the list.

STOP CALLING ME. you are annoying.

This guys are totally scammer calling from india i use too in tese field but when i recoognize that this all scam then i just left the jo please dont listen to these scammer and also dont make payment to them

received numerous calls today in a row same person...saying won 500K......wanted info.....hung up and they kept calling back......it registered once as Private, once as Out of Area and twice with 847 631 4977 and didplay said from Elk Grove Village Illinois....tried calling back just get message call cannot be completed as dialed......???????? same guy all four calls

I received a call from this nmber at 9:00p.m. but when I picked up the phone, whoever was on the other end of the line just would not answer, I kept saying "hello" but refused to answer. I hung up.

Called and then hung up without saying anything.

I could't pick up the call. When I called the #, I keep getting a busy signal, too.

Got a call from the 847-631-4977 # today also.. nothing said , they just hung up

this number is also putting ads out online about selling English bulldogs for cheap in CA, and TX. but want money sent to Africa...not very smooth...

call recieved today.  young kid saying that he was outside my house.  and that he was going to shoot up the house.  i hung up the phone and tried calling back.  nothing but a busy tone...

phone call at 12/21 sept 16th from Private Number.  No message.

Upon p/u, had short ring.  Middle eastern woman said Hello stating she wanted to discuss our AT&T account.  Had same phone call yesterday from a man, but, answered too fast for Caller ID to show up.  How do we stop these?

Got a call yesterday from 847 631 1838.  When I answer they hang up.  Got a call today from 847 631-4977.  Again when I answered they hung up.  Both results from trying to call back was a fast busy signal.

some middle eastern lady that is a recording.  calls numerous times in a row.  I wonder what she is saying...?

I have received numerous calls from this phone number. Nobody says anything and when I try to call it back it says that the call will not go through.

calls my cell phone numerous times. no messages ever left and you get a fast busy signal of you try to call back. I answered once and had a man with a middle eastern accent try to get info from me about who/where I was located. Very disturbing and relentless.

Received a call about 2 p.m. today, no message.  When I called the number back to see who called, it was continually busy.

received a call from this number    it is interesting that the caller id displayed the number twice    that made me want to investigate

This is a random number showing when someone is calling with an international calling card. My in-laws call me from Ireland all the time with calling cards and 847-631 is always the prefix.
