someone called me and disconnected when I answered

I want these call stopped, I have no clue as to who they are and they call at dinner time and after 8PM, I want them stopped

Wow....People have a lot of time on their hands.

I thought I was on the DNC list but I wasn't.  Most people probably don't know that your number is only on it for a certain amount of time.  "Jack Get Back" should probably post that link as well.

I was just looking for their info to thank the young lady that helped me out of my dead end mortgage.

They're just another business trying to make a living.  I'm sure most of the people entering these comments are affiliated with a company that directly markets in a similar fashion or outsource their needs.  

When it comes to voicemails....would you like to have 15 - 20 voicemails every day from the dozens of telemarketing companies trying to reach you....i'm glad they don't.

GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSES AND LET THESE PEOPLE DO THEIR JOB.  YOU MAKE ME SICK

I requested a sales call from their website!  I said my name was Jack Selpin and my office number was his home number and told them to call the cell number if I didn't answer.  Told them I was ready to go.  I will call Jack every hour on the hour if I need to!

Missed two calls from this number today. Called back, line was busy. No idea who they are.

This number keeps calling me 847-649-8799, Never leaves a message, when I answer no one is on the other line and when I call back it is always busy no matter what time I call it. What is going on? I thought we had some type of protection on our phones when you sign-up for telemarketers to not call you?

someone called me from that number today. it was a young women, she asked for my husband by first name, I said he is not in and asked what I can help whit, she hung up. I got angry and was thinking bad things about my husband until i found this website. so be carefull ladies, your husband is not fooling around

i just got a call from this number. i have gotten it before and the always hang up when i say hello and the never leave a message when i dont answer. so this time i picked up but didnt say anything. in a few sec a lady asked for my dad (its his name on our cell account). i told her that there is no such person at my number (which is true since its my phone and no my dad's) and told her to take me off their list. she said that she would but i guess i will have to wait and find out if they actually did.... i should have gotten who they were so they can be reported... it looks like a lot of people are getting bugged... so if you get a hold of someone like i did ASK THEM WHO THEY ARE SO YOU CAN REPORT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good luck all!!!!

It's another telemarketer. Try this:

1) You answer & no one is there: hit ###### many times in rapid succession (creates an even-spaced beep) and hang up; Machine may interpret that your number is bad and take you off the list.

2) You answer & get a sales pitch: say "please hold" and set the phone down till they hang up; If you always waste their time like this, they'd be stupid not to take you off the list.

In this day and age, the only way to solve problems is to confront them. just answer the phone. its probably just a proactive business looking for expanding opportunity. one has two choices in eliminating calls: 1) answer and ask poiltely but firmly to be placed ON a do not call list 2)place yourself on the national do not call list. you can also just sit there and complain about phone calls as well....

Nov. 20, 2007  I don't understand why you called and don't respond when I answer the phone that is very childish. Also your calling me @9:28 pm I am getting in bed for work so please stop calling my home. Who ever you are ........

Got a call AGAIN tonight from this number.  If you call back the number "doesn't exist".  This was on Nov 20, 2007.

i would like to figure out who this caller is because when i pick noone says anything.

This # shows as a residence. It keeps calling my cell.

Whoever this is calling needs to stop. It is very annoying and you need to grow up and get a life and stop bothering other people.

File a complaint at http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html. This is probably the most effective way to stop these rude individuals.

This company is called Logic Call. They are a company that makes calls for other companies. Telemarketing. Called the company, they admitted to calling me, when they found out I was unhappy the individual hung up on me. There phone number is 1847-649-8000. I also filed a complaint with the police dept and I am going to file a complaint with the do not call center. I suggest you do the same.

Alternatively, all of you posting your experiences here must be lying about the calls you've received.

Jack's company's calls definitely violate the Federal Communications Act, subsequent modifications to the Act, and current rules and regulations of the FCC, especially those which now regulate calls to wireless communication devices, i.e. cell phones.  

If you're concerned enough to post here, then take just a few minutes and file a complaint FCC Form 1088 for each call you've received online at:

Probably that's the only way to get Jack to know God a little better.

Just got a call from 847-649-8799.  They hooked me up with a mortgage company that is reducing my payment $200 per month despite my credit.  I tried to call them back to thank them.
