I get phone calls from this number 4-5 times a day,
i am tired of them.. they have the wrong number but do not understand that they have the wrong nuber..THEY NEED TO STOP CALLING ME...

I've gotten about 10 calls from these idiots in the past 3 days.  They also call from another number, 602-889-2700, but they always ask for Drew.  I'm not sure it's a scam, I suspect these people are just genuine idiots.

I just got my first call from them a few minutes ago on my cell phone, I didn't recognize the number so I got on my computer to look it up, which took me here. I heard that it's a number for a college called the Colorado Technical University, which might explain why I got this call and probably will keep getting a call from them. Because last night I requested for a free career booklet online that I saw on TV and they said they transfered my information to that school, which I didn't want them to do, but they did without asking me first. It's kind of funny that they don't leave a message if they really are a school, because most colleges that do call usually leave a message.

Also, if you do want them to stop calling you, you can call the director of admissions at 1-800-416-8904 ext 82582, his name is Matt Lamb. File a complaint with him and they will take you off their calling list.

who ever this is does not have the smarts to say hello...i am so sick of those calls any time of the day...

I keep getting calls from this number. I didn't sign up for any school to be calling me, but they've been calling and not leaving a message nonstop for two days now.

This number calls repeatedly on my cell and work number...I answer and nobody is there....OVER IT!!!

Just started getting calls

It's an online university telemarketer. I get no less that 8 calls a day. This is very annoying.

I requested some college info online, and now this number has been calling once or twice day since -- 7 calls in 6 days. I requested info via email, NOT by phone, but they have no respect for that.

i too requested some college info and now they are calling me as well... kinda creeping goggleing the # and finding all these sites. does anybody know how to get rid of them?

they keep calling my cell phone all the time. they never leave a message because i don't answer them when they call they must call 20 times a day. it's very irritating.

Yep... Colorado Technical University.  Lousy diploma mill.  They've called me a few times.

I received a couple messages from this number after I requested information about an online college course with Colorado Tech.  The message freaked me out!  It was this guy breathing really hard and whispering something.  I called and got removed from their list.

has called continuously since 910am this morning.  Never leaves a message.  When I did pick up no one was there. WTF

Same thing......they call several times a day.  I haven't picked up because I don't recognize the number.  It's starting to get disruptive though.

They've called me about 2-3 times a day and I haven't picked up once.  Now sure who it is or where they're from, but the could at least a message saying who they are.

THEY HAVE CALLED ME AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHO IT IS AND THEY DON'T EVEN LEAVE A VOICE MESSAGE. IT IS REALLY IRRITATING WHEN THEY CALL EVERY DAY.

I just received a phone  call from this number, and I didn't answer it, because it's 5 in the morning here! No voice mail was left, but yesterday I asked for some college information to be sent to my home, and to be contacted via email... so I saw this number and looked it up online to find out who it was.  Then I see all these sights about this; it kind of scares me.

They call all the time I asked them to take me off the list and they would not. How do I make them stop calling me?

This number have called me at a minimum no less than 10 times a day they have called my cell and my home phone number and never once have they left a message. I have never picked up the call because I do not believe that we have any thing to talk about. I have called the number spoken to the operator and asked that they not call me and remove my numbers from their call list. Hopefully this will work if it does not then I will file a complaint with the FCC. They are truly a menace and very unnerving.

Well the lawsuit wont get you anywhere, the only way that company gets your information is you have gone online and requested either information directly, or you filled out a survey to get a gift card, etc for free. Nothing is free. Unfortunately when you fill stuff out read the fine print, I work in the IT field so if you don't want calls, use a wrong number when trying to win stuff, it will stop the calls for sure. With all the companies out there that sell your information from forms you fill out, unfortunately you gave consent for them to call, the school is not telemarketing, they are responding to your information that got to them. So to win any lawsuits you have to prove that you don't use a computer, and didn't fill out any forms. Good luck

Most likely, this telemarketer is using a predictive dialer to call your cellphone. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) forbids such calls.

Two things you can do:

1) Report the violation to the FCC here: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do

2) Sue 'em. Whether you received only one illegal call or multiple calls, the TCPA gives you the right to sue for damages to the tune of $500 per call. You can file suit yourself (usually in small claims court) or retain a consumer law attorney who will take care of it on your behalf. Many times, by the way, the telemarketer settles out of court.

I received a call from this 847-783-8341 constantly, I do not answer, because I don't know the # but it is driving me crazy that they are calling me so often and waisting my minutes...

We have had numerous calls from this number.  Can't all of these reports be provided to someone to get these people fined for harassment?  If the government really wanted to do something for the American people to make our lives less stressful they would make an effort to stop SPAM and harassing calls.  Until they see what's in it for them it won't happen.  We don't have a lobbyist to line their pockets, all we can do is vote.
