I got the 847.803.9400 number call on my cell too...as did my bro and my dad. I wish these people would die in a fiery car wreck. Recording told my dad his debit card was deactivated and needed to be reactivated..he hung up and called his bank. Scam.

I received a phone call from this number at 7:30pm on a friday night saying my debit card has been cancelled and to call another immediately to resolve the situation. I, instead, called my bank and inquired and they said they did not make any phone calls to me in regard to my accounts. This is a scam!!!

4 cell phones in my family, every one called by this scam. I am calling my carrier to report it. I noticed someone else who got the call"delwatergap" is from PA too. Think it is isolated to pennsylvania? Also do we all have Verizon?

My husband and I both received calls from this number at the same time telling us that our debit card was canceled and to press 1 to restore it.We knew our card wasn't canceled and tried calling back the number.Like those above,we were told the mailbox was full.Definitely a scam.

Received a call on my cell phone 8/24/09 at 5:48 pm from 847-803-9400 with a message that my credit card account had been cancelled. This number appears to originate in Illinois and was no doubt spoofed. Interestingly, my wife received the exact same call on her cell phone, the number of which differs from my number by one digit, also at 5:48 pm, but caller ID shows it came from 817-385-1065 (a phone number that originates in Texas).
