I also was scammed on Match by this same person, xmanny1970.  I received the exact same message as noted below.  He asked for money.

This number was used by a scammer on Match.com using the name "Xmanny1970". An excerpt from his email to me:


My name is Michael , I am Mixed , half German & Italian, I have a daughter name Sophie, I am Eco-toxicologist by profession. I am widower.

U can leave a text Msgr: (847) 807-5135, or write me via my email address: michmald1953@aol.com, for better
acquainted, I believe communication is key and foundation to good friends...I 'll be anticipate to hear from U soon.

This number was used by a scammer in an attempt to make to a shady Craigslist attempted purchase. Please keep in mind that the caller may have also been using this number for their caller ID.
