Dave Taylor called asking for the two owners after 7 pm.  The operator thought the call was suspicious and asked a supervisor to take the call.  The guy used a lame excuse that he needed the owner's cell phone numbers because the screen on his cell phone was broken.  I asked for his number and he said that we had treated him rudely and said he was going to cancel the meeting?? and then hung up. We got his information off the caller ID. The owners have never heard of Dave Taylor.

You must have been in a fantisity world when they came to visit with you or maybe you work for/with them!   They are total SCAM in all ways possable.

The person who called identified himself as being from a company called ABS.  He refused to give me any information.  I told him have a nice day and hung up.  He called back, all indignant, and it was only when I told him I could not forward his call or give him any information unless he gave me his number did he spill his guts.  When he was finished, he said, "so now are you going to give me some information?"  I answered, "no, but I will pass your message along." I immediately called the number back, and the company identified itself as IPA.  I asked them to take our company's name off their list immediately.  This is the second time this company has called, and the same guy who got all indignant because he wouldn't take no for an answer.  Let's see if they call again.

If you get a call from this phone number do NOT answer it.  I didn't even get a call from them.  We have a small business and of course with the slumping economy and the holidays approaching, its slow around here.  Funds are limited.  The owner (a relative of mine) was somehow personally approached by these SCUMBAGS from IPA aka International Profit Association.  He gave them $16,000 (that we DO NOT HAVE) for their analysis of our business, and a promise to help us increase profits.  It felt bad from the get go, and normally I research everything, but they were CONSTANTLY around me and the owner.  I didn't have my internet hooked up at home and I figured, the owner must believe it would work.  They left after a week, left us with a few spreadsheets and an EMPTY bank account (which is my fault because I should've done a search on the SCUMS before I let the owner even talk to them).  You do NOT need these services to make your business successful!!!!!

We to had a call from IPA and they sent in a sales guy who gave us the schlick on the company and what they had to offer. We agreed to another guy coming in the next day to review our operation. The contract we signed was doctored and changed to indicate we owed $1200 for this guys time. The review guy was surprised his copy of the contract was different than ours and decided to charge us nothing for the visit. He agreed that the contract had been changed without our knowledge. He told us this happens more than he liked. The review guy spent two days and told us nothing new and we eventually kicked him out after our bookkeeper searched IPA-IBA and found numerous complaints about corruption.

If IPA-IBA calls hang up - these crooks don't deserve to be in business and the Attorney General for the State of Illinois has laid a FRAUD CHARGE on this company in April.

The Gentleman kept dealing in initials and the call from Mr. Corello's office--kept asking for the Manager as he was quizzed as to the purpose of the call--Used caller I.D. to get number and told them the name of our company--and the decision maker could be reach at 877-566-7226 which is the Attorney Generals Office of NC.

These guys are HARRASSING ME....

They actually sent a guy to my office when I was out... I'm tempted to tell them to send a guy again so, I can "talk" to him face to face...

If they call again, I'm going to do it against my better judgement - But, I want this guy to hear what I've got to say without being hung up on....

Here is how I got rid of them--it worked for me. I told the guy that I know they are under great pressure to sign clients but that I was not interested--however, every time he calls I will spend a half hour talking and leading him on and wasting his time. After about 5 minutes of talking and wasting his time he told me I was off the list--and I haven't received a call since! Try it, it works. The last thing they want to do is waste time without getting their foot in the door.

I started getting phone calls from "IPA" in November or earlier. I told them to stop calling and they call me about 6 times a month. I've had it with these guys and I want to cuss them out everytime they call. I HATE THEM!!!! I get enough telemarketers a day but when they call I feel like shooting someone!I can't get them to stop calling me!!!!!!! :'(

In person visit- Gentleman came in well dressed asked what type of business we run ... I told him and he asked for a business card he stated that he was interested in using our services. When he left I felt he was a little suspiscious. I hope this man doesn't call for any other reason than to use our services. Because if he does I am going to let him have it. Sneaky crap like that is BS and VERY unprofessional.

Next time they call, remind them of the RICO case currently in court in Northern District of Illinois, Amari v IPA......Also the EEOC v IPA case against them in same court....Suits total about $50,000 or more.....Also remind them of the Attorney Generals investigation of them in Illinois.....

Some guy called and asked for my boss.  I said he was not in the office, could I take a message.  The guy asked if I knew where my boss had tried to call him from.  Lie Number One:  my boss had not tried to call him.  Up goes the red flag.  I said no I didn't, could I take a message.  The guy then said he had my boss's cell phone number, but had left it out in his truck, so could I give it to him again.  Lie Number Two:  my boss never gave him his cell number.  I told him I wasn't authorized to give out the boss's cell number; could I take a message.  The guy said he was just going into a meeting (yeah, right!) and would try calling again later.

So let me get this straight.  This moron calls and tells me one blatant lie after another, and we are supposed to, like, uh - trust them with our business decisions????  Am I missing something here?

I've had them call back several times since my post above.  I've made it VERY clear what I think of them and told them to put me on their do not call list several times.  They made the mistake of calling me twice in one day and I blew up on the second guy.

If they call, keep a LIST of full names/dates/times. Make it VERY clear you know they are thieves, and that you've found plenty of information through the Illinois Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, and RipOffReport.com.

The funny thing about all of this is that the local rep that stopped by works another job that puts him in a fairly public position (found via google).  If the harrasment keeps up, first I'll try the Illinois AG, then I'll go after the rep on a personal level.

Looking at the similarity in logs, I'm beginning to suspect that there is a connection between this number and 204-272-4966, supposedly out of Manitoba, Canada, although it appears that no one actually answers in the latter and there is no IPA caller ID.  If I do get further calls, I think I'll turn the tables and make THEM a sales pitch.  The poor schleps actually doing the calling are probably the same folks who really believe the "make money" notices posted on telephone poles and Infomercials.  Kind of like our friend "TDC Corporation of Vancouver, Washington" that IPA helped go to $13M.  Really?  And you still have time to read these posts?

This outfit started harassing us in the last couple of weeks, trying to strong-arm us into hiring them to "increase our productivity."  My boss talked to their representative for about 34 seconds and found out the poor schlub was absolutely clueless, so she politely told him we were not interested.  The dunderheads kept calling.  The last time their salesman called, I said "Please hold," put him on hold and sort of accidentally forgot about him.  If he calls again, he's going on hold again.

I answered the phone around 9:50AM and this women very sternly asked to speak to the person in charge of making the desions for the company. Well that along puts up the red flag for solicitor. I asked for their name and they said Sarah. Then I asked for what company they were calling from and they said IPA. Then still needing to drag info out of them, asked what the nature of the call was because the person in charge was going to ask me those questions. She said very rudely that they were a new company and wanted to talk to them about it. Knowing that anybody who really needs to talk to our owners introduces themself professionaly and nothing needs to be dragged out of them, I knew this was a scammer teller marketer, of which I can not stand. Since they were waisting my time, I placed them on hold and left them there. Never to return. Which infact was hopefully waisting their time. The number that came through the id was 847-808-5590. Do not give out any information to these BOZO's, they area scammers.

I told her I didn't give out that information-what was the call regarding. She said it was pertaining to a business call, and she would contact him later and hung up.
