I searched the # and got George May Company, the same as other people have. This lady called and asked for a certain person here and I said may I ask who is calling and she said Ann from May Company. I said what is this call in regards to? She said she wanted to set up a time to meet with him. I said he is rarely ever in and asked her if this was in regards to a business decision and she said yes. I said well he isn't the person you would talk to, you need to speak with our VP of Operations or our corporate office in Canada. So I she wanted the VP of Ops here and I said just one moment let me see if he is available and I sent her to vm. I am not going to bother him with that call. If its important she will leave a message and he can call her back if he is interested.

This number has called twice and asked to speak to the General Manager (who is never here).  I keep asking if she would like voicemail and each time the answer is no.  So...they keep calling.

Get calls from this company ALL the time!!! Finally got a second to call them back and ask to be off their calling list. Woman was actually VERY VERY polite and helpful!! We'll see if I get anymore calls though!!

Call from a fairly heavily accented woman named "Mary". Said she was with George May, wanted to speak with the owner to set up a business meeting and wouldn't elaborate.

George May International, some kind of representative looking for businesses in the area, so they can show their products. I told her, that I am very busy and do not want sellers in my office.!!!

Cold calling apparently for the George S May Company, though the CallerID now says 'Unknown Name'.  Caller was evidently reading from a script (I am male, yet he kept calling me ma'am), refused to say who he was with or what he was calling about, only that he was calling from 'Mister Lionel's office in Chicago' for the owner.  Hung up when I asked what he was calling about.  Called the number back to find that it is a number for the George S May Company.  Have asked numerous times to be removed from their lists, yet they always call back and are always rude, deceitful individuals.

This is actually the third time I've written in about this company. (It's helpful for me to go back and see how many times they've called!!) I repeatedly tell them that the person they're asking for retired 10 years ago, but they keep calling and asking for the same person. I have told them not to call here anymore, but they wait a couple of months and start calling again. I do not feel the least bit bad for hanging up on these folks. I have a list of  #'s at my desk that I will either not answer, or will answer and then leave them on hold until they hang up. This # is going on that list.

Received a call from this number this morning.  Caller ID showed "George S. May Int".  A female voice asked for the owner by name but horribly mangled saying his simple name (ya gotta be pretty stupid to do that).  When I said he was not available, she hung up abruptly.  I called the number back, dialed 0, got an operator who said she'd be happy to help me be put on their Do Not Call List.   I gave her ALL 5 of our business lines/numbers, including the fax number, and she even repeated them back to me to be sure she had them listed correctly.  So, they have at least one polite person working for them.

Got a call from these people today.  I let him know that nobody speaks with the owner without speaking with me first.  I told him whatever information he had that he should send it in the mail.
He said they were an assessment firm and would like to get us on the schedule to discuss decreasing the overhead at our business to help improve our bottom line.  REALLY?
If he came here to look at our business he'd already know that there's no further cutting that can happen!  We're bare bones now!  I have to say that he was very polite though.

This lady called and repeatedly asked for the president by first name. I told her I needed to know what it was regarding. She said profit engineering. What??? She would not give me more information, just kept on repeating profit engineering.

This number calls my company 3-5 times a day. I usually answer and get hung up on upon picking up the phone. Lately I have been asked to connect them to the owner. I screen all calls and never transfer calls to him unless he is expecting their call. Whe you ask for more information from them they get all mean and nasty and either hang up on you or repeat over and over they NEED to speak to the owner and that it is a personal matter that they can not talk about with me. When I say we are not interested they keep insisting they can only be told that by the owner. I have requested to be removed several times now and yet they still keep calling. Now I just pick up and hang up or I transfer them to my voicemail. They never leave a message.

Rude person from George May company -- I was nice as can be and she got snappy and hung up.  What a jerk.

Received a call from a nice gentleman asking to speak to the owner (gave the correct name). I said she was unavailable and rather than leave a message he said he'd just call back when she was available.

I answer a lot of calls on a daily basis and it seems only telemarketers are the ones that say they will call back. If I can I tell them that if they are a telemarketer not call back since it will be me answering the phone again. That usually keeps them from calling again. :)

Speaker would not give any additional information and insisted with speaking directly to the owner of the company.  No one allows cold calls to a CEO anymore.  Get real.

The man calls and looking for the owner. He was asked " who you are and where calling from" He just hanged up...what a waste of time.

Next time they call, tell them the owner of your company is out of the office right now, but can be reached at 847-784-0016. Tell them his name is Israel Kushnir. Tell them he would surely be interested in whatever they are offering.

It is the CEO of George S. May, and that is his home phone number. :-D

A "Miriam" called and asked for our company's owner. I offered to take a message. She said she would try back later.  She didn't say where she was from but I assume she was with this Georges May

calls everyday no message

Just called.  Calls every other day asking for company's owner.  I offered to take a message.  She said she would try again.  Would not give reason for calling and hung up.  Waste of time!

Caller said they were with May Engineering and when I said the owner wasn't in and if I could take a message, they said they were trying to get on our schedule for early next month.  The lies they're coming up with now to get through the gatekeepers are getting better, I'll give them that.

We received many calls from this number asking for the owner. When advised the owner is not available the caller says, "I'll call back" and then promptly hangs up.   We informed the guy (David) that our number is on the Fed & State Do not call list and he is violating Fed law.  These calls are very annoying and we would not ever do business with a company that makes random cold calls.847-825-8806

Got harrassed today from "The May Company". These scum have called many times and never get through to who they want. I recognized number and routine as george *ss may company, but when I asked skank caller if company had any other name, it said no. SHOCKER, the waste of skins are liars! I think the next time one of them calls, they will get a bullhorn to the ear as soon as the phone is answered. I don't know that that will stop them...after all, does anything completely "get rid" of all  cockroaches? (sorry to true bugs/roaches)

Got a call today. 1st call they were answering the hello on other said. 2nd call back was Bob Schnitzer from the May Company asking for the Owner of our Company. He wants to send a Rep here to introduce their company. Put him on hold then Said owner wasnt available and then he wouldnt let me take a message.

A young man named Steve Miller called from the number listed above and stated that he was with the May Company.  He wanted the owners cell number and also stated that a rep had visited our office and wanted him to touch base after the new year.  I offered him our email address for a point of contact and stated that I was not at liberty to give out the owners personal cell number.  At that point he said thank you and hung up.

Do Not fall for free service. This company is just like George S May Co.  Read the listing on George S May and beware. Ask for their education, employment history of assigned consultants, Recent LOCAL recommendations.  Membership in BBB. You will hear fast talk, maybe even berate your skills and background.  If you are a small company and need assistance - Try SCORE thorough the Small Business Administration.  They are qualified and free.  Or try an established LOCAL Consultant recommended by your Accountant, Lawyer, Banker, Friend.  Do some research in advance  - SMS is not a benefit for any small company.  What you get for free is a canned report, Hype and high pressure.  I was told I should pay them daily instead of paying my very supportive suppliers per our agreements.  Just consider the ethics of that!
