Called my cell phone.  Don't remember now if they left vm but I too have received several calls on both my cell and home phone about expiring truck warranty.  USSEARCH.com lists them as Global Crossing Local Services.

I've been getting this number alot too.  Now that I know it's scammers, I can't wait until they call back to mess with them!!  Maybe I should cry like a lunatic until they hang up! Ha!

This company is U.S. Fidelis, the after-market warranty insurance company that advertises on all the local TV channels.  These guys also use multiple phone numbers with different area codes from around the country.  And no, I don't know how to stop them either.

a few days ago, I was able to call back the number and leave messages-
it was the number 847-871-0925. I repeatedly left messages that I was reporting the scam to the police and to the FCC. After months of these annoying calls on both my home number (up to one minute ago again!) and my cell phone- now the call gives you the option to put yourself on a no-call list and be removed from their calling. Hopefully this is true! previously, I would wait for a person to tell them to stop calling my number and just get hung up on like everyone else. Hopefully my calls finally put an end to this scam. Unfortunately for others who will keep getting the calls. It is definitely a scam. If it continues, call the FCC to file a complaint.

Received on cell phone 2/9/09.  Didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  Called the number back and got a voicemail to leave a message.  Boy did I ever!

This is an illegal scam.  They call your phone and use the connection time to make money.  Not sure how it works but it has been reported to various state governments as a fraudulent practice -- this is why they will never answer you.  It's not about car insurance at all.

I have been getting calls from the same Phone and called back I got a recording. Then  I called ELK GROVE Village At 847 439 3900 and they were sorry that someone in their town was doing this.  They are very nice and might like to here from you to.

got the same call as everyone else at 5:30 pm eastern time.  didn't answer.

Got a call from these guys. I picked up on the second ring and heard nothing coming out of the other end. Obviously, it has to be those guys from the auto warranty scam.

Same # called me.  I called it back just went to the voicemail for me to leave a message, I did leave a message no response yet.  When they do call back I want to know why they are calling me and for them to loose my #.  I am too busy for this crap.

I don't know how to get the car warranty thing to stop, it's always from a different number. Hope someone finds out. I don't own a car either.

It is a scam of some sort. I called it back from another phone line and no answer. I did a reverse lookup and saw that the number returned the following results.

they will probably change the number they use and what they are calling about in due time. It's just annoying to get these calls on your cell phone and I don't think the DNC list will help since they likely change up so often.

This is a spam call from the same after market auto warranty company that advertises on TV. . . "not your manufacturer's warranty - better!" These guys call my cell number sometimes up to 4 times a day.  If anyone knows how to block this number or how to get on a "no call" list, please let us know how.

Its a company claiming to offer car warranties. They've been calling me for the last 3 months. Ive asked repeatedly to be taken off the list which they claim to do and continue calling. I dont know how to get rid of these low lives, they call from different area codes.

This is some indof solicitation call...don't know anyone in Oak Grave Ill.  Suspect it's the car warranty scam as was the one I got from that area this amZ
