Thanks Tamianth!

Just got 17 more calls this week from them and came here to re-report it.  My dining room table is a mountain of bills I'm going thru and I see they also send snail mail now, so that till have to be good enough for them until I get settled with all these bills.    They started calling (saturday) at 7 am and just hang up after 3 rings.

Mail them a cease and desist letter for the calls. Send it via certified US mail and keep a copy for yourself. You can find a free template online. Then report them if they persist. BTW, the hospitals have programs that can help you pay your medical bills above what the insurance pay's, either all or part. Ask for the paper work.

These people just called. Illinois # on caller ID. It is Sunday.  They call at least 9 times a day starting at 7:30 and going as late as 10 pm. They hang up on the machine so I get the Phone Company Lady saying 8 recordings of "the number you have dialed is...." whatever, "please dial 1 and the area code...."

Just for the hell of it I picked up this time and before I even got the "o" out of "hello?" I hear it flip and a phone started ringing on their end, and I just caught a nanosecond of a lot of voices talking (call center).

I just got out of the hospital and have a mountain of bills to go through and sort and see who I really owe what to. I am tired of these relentless bill collectors, especially when dealing with hospital stuff, everyone knows it can take months to get the Billing people to bill correctly or hammer out what you exactly owe for what. Seems the minute your key is in your front door when you get home, they're already calling.  Yet my deadbeat brother in law who has no insurance and  no job and no intention of getting one just had massive reconstructive surgery, for free, due to a skateboarding accident where he shattered his knee so badly they had to call in a specialist.  Seems if you do pay and do have insurance and need to sort the tangled web of it all you're fair game? SOmething's a bit backwards.

I am about 15 minutes West of Chicago, in da 'burbs.

Call came up "Illinois Call" though I have also had this company call from other states  (Michigan call, etc. I do not ow any money in these states)

I'm getting calls from this number at least 8 times a day, starting at 7:30 am and going on until 10:15 (they sure push the allowed time to call, don't they?)   They hang up if the machine picks it up.

I also owe some money to a local doctor, however I am waiting for the insurance company and the idiot Billing Dept. to finish duking it out as to what I really owe. I am glad to see this is who it is, thank you Barb!

They are also calling my UNLISTED, never-given-out cell phone number, which is a neat trick. They let it flip to voicemail, then don't leave one. So, I have 15 voice mails of silence at the end of the week.

Remember the good ol' days when people sent PAPER bills and you could see what you owe, who you owe it to and had a number for a Human to talk to? Telling me "you owe $80" doesn't cut it.

The hospital I go to (Lutheran General in Des Plaines, IL) recently had 3 computers tolen with millions of IDs, SS#, personal info, you name it...stolen.   They did offer a year free credit monitor and said they didn't think the comps were stolen for that purpose; it just happens all that info was on them (to which I always ask WHY???)

The calls from "you owe us money" have increased, including some I know were 100% fraudulent BS.

Be careful!  Thank you for this site!

This is the ICS Collection Service. The search engine says they collect $ for doctors.  I possibly do owe some money; my doctors are in Illinois in the area these folks are.  However they are calling 9 times a day, even called last night at 9:50.  They start as early as 7 AM. So, they can go to hell and I've blocked the #/

Hi. This number keeps contacting me several times a week, but only leaves 1 message per week that is automated. No identification is given in regards to whom is calling, just saying that it is an important business matter that I need to contact them about.
