This is the number of the Equivoice center, this is the routing station for all calls from Satelite calls. So if you read back than a call with this numbers is most probably comming from one of the following cruise companies:
Holland america Line
Princess Cruises
Costa cruises

and probably from a lot more.
so there is no way of finding out who is the caller, the above companies have all in execess of a dozen ships. as all crew who use the calling cards onboard there will be a possibility that one of 25000 people knows you and tries to call you. (12 x 650 crewmembers X 3 companies!)
and it is also possible that someone is trying to call the wrong number, with all the different codes you have to put in front....

It seems that this calling card number is used for Cruise ships crew members.  I do not know how it works but my friend is presently on a Princess ship and calls me once in a while.  I find it odd that other crew member from other cruise line have the same number for calling card??  
What I can say here is that my friend has this number since starting the contract with Princess, sept-oct 2013.

I received a call from this number early this morning around 3:44am (Philippine time) i missed the first one then called me again and keep asking me "sino to?sino to?"(who's this?who's this) then he hang up. after how many minutes he then called but to my husband phone and asking the same thing but its a girl this time.We did not recognize the voice...They did not call again.Then i search the number and the results says it is located in wheeling,illinois usa.
We don't know anybody from this place.

Got a call from this number but didn't pick up. Odd thing is that 847 is my local area code.

This number calling me 4 rimes daily; since 2 days.

I got a call from this number today (12.08.2013) and the person calling used foul language. I was in a meeting at the time and could not respond in the befitting manner. But if I get a call from this number again, I will make sure I kick his nuts up his throat!

Its a phone line on Holland America cruise ships for calling out. Maybe staff use them to make free calls?

I got calls from this847-947-3137 and I know this number is just a forwarder because I have talk to the guy he in the Philippines.. has a country code of 63 so I am sure the 8479473137 is just a bridge to connect to your number

Got a call a little while ago from this no but didn't answer.  Read the posts here and got a bit freaked out  even tho I have friends who work on ships (this no was completely unfamiliar).   Got another call minutes later.   It was a male w Indian accent.   He called again and I realized it was a friend of mine who works on Celebrity cruise ships!   He was calling from the ship & using a calling card.

i am receiving around 20 calls from this number everyday... I have blocked it on my phone but still receive attempts... can anybody pls help me out?  who knows the caller??

Keeps calling every morning, Lookup shows Wheeling IL.  Have turned the caller in for whatever good that will do. Let me find them or their home number then I can do something

I am frm the pacific islands. That number called ma cell phone at around 10:30pm at nite and again in the next morning.. wondering whose number is it and please whoever's boyfrend is this, tell him to stop!!!!!
