pandering to fears of medicare subscribers.  recording prompted me to push 1 for info or 2 to be removed from call list.  after pushing 2 i was connected with a sales person who immediately began the pitch.  i stated i was following the prompt i heard on the recording to be removed from the list and got a curt alright from the woman pn the other end.  in the backgroung i gould hear the typical hubub of a telemarketing center.

and the scam saga continues... #29 added to my list of douche card services. Ridiculous these calls cant be stopped or traced. How isnt this possible...the technology doesnt exist..or the government doesnt care? This scam has been running for years and obviously is lining someones pockets with $'s. These people should be taken out back and shot... TWICE!

Mine was medicare/diabetes call. I was tempted to  hit 2 to "be taken off the list", but remembered what  the Missouri attorney general's office told me: DO NOT DO ANYTHING THAT WOULD INDICATE THEY REACHED A WORKING NUMBER. Do not call back, do not answer, and if you do, do NOT push a button to be taken off the list; that only confirms your # for them. She said all you can to is a reverse # google search and to report the # to THE AG's office. They are trying their best to stop these scams, but many are off seas and very slippery, esp. the card holder service type calls. Don't blame the FTC or FCC. Gov't agencies are under attack and do not have enough people  to do many of the jobs we ask.  If we want services, we have to stop refusing to pay for them.

Sorry, but it isn't the Federal level you need to start with.  Start with your state government.  Namely, your U.S. Congress person.  That's what I have been doing and am finally making headway.  They do not like continual calls from constituents to both their home district's offices and their D.C. offices.  When you get to the point that you are on a first name basis with several people in the offices, they begin to realize there are many who can be as relentless as snow in a blizzard (or I as was told I was, "Like a dog after a bone but will go for the leg if that's what it takes!"  I said that indeed that was an apt description of me so get off your a*** and do something!  Good luck!

Yes, I've begun getting calls from that number too.  All with the same crap as the other number.

Repeated calls from this number to my cell and home.  All are robo-type calls telling of "...reported break-in in your area, please hold for additional information..."  They act as if they are associated with a Police Department or a Security Service.
IN FACT, they are trying to SELL you their Security Service.  Repeated requests to be taken off the call list as my number is unpublished, results in insults, cursing at me hang-ups and then they start calling in the middle of the night. An actual individual does this. I started answering my phone by saying my city's name _______ Police Department, Sgt. _______ , what are you calling Homicide Division about?   Calls stopped in the middle of the night from the individual.  Robo-calls continue.
They never repeat the name of the so called Security Company either, when asked. They instead hang up.  You can get a call, not answer, call back immediately and get a recording that the number has been disconnected.

CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ALSO HAVE BEEN IN REGARD TO HEALTHCARE,  SOCIAL SECURITY,  AND  CREDIT  CARDS  (VISA,  MASTERCARD,  AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER,  JP MORGAN/CHASE, ETC.).

Someone please report these jack***es Yaron Kimelman of LIncolnwood, Illinois, Abraham Kimelman of Brookline, MA and Eitan Kimelman of NYC to your local attorney general. Hey, maybe we can report them also to the FCC.

Check the Operating Instructions that came with your phone. Many phones will let you block a certain amount of numbers. I can block 30 numbers on my Panasonic.

Eleven days and already SIX PAGES of complaints against this number. SHAME ON OUR GOVERNMENT.

Caller ID said "Out-Of-Area" with this number displayed.  Picked up/hung up to stop the call without answering or letting it go to the machine.  I suspect it was this same SCAMMER who tried YESTERDAY (Jan 17) at 11:18AM to call via JUST the "OUT-OF-AREA" displayed.  They never made it past the 1.5 rings of my CALL BLOCKER.  ALL "ANONYMOUS" calls with NO NAME OR NUMBER get ZAPPED!

I will be putting in a formal complaint with the DNC List, for all the good that does.  Still, I find the calls diminish in frequency when you just cut them off without engaging in anyway.  I suspect the pick up/hang up WITHOUT SAYING A WORD "Confuses" the Robodialer.

This is Massachusetts, if anyone is keeping track of how widespread this is.

caller got my machine, left no message, but stayed on the line awhile. Can they charge you for staying om line with a machine?

Phone rang 3 times this morning, no one on the other end.
Got number from Calller ID, and tried it amazingly it is blocked.

It does no good to report on the do-not-call list. If you can, block the number.

I have gotten this call a lot over the past week or so and most of the time I am not at home to answer the phone and they just hang up. I sure wish they would take my name off there list of people to call.

Got this call said it was from Dominican Republic. If I don't know the caller when it shows up on caller ID, I don't pick up the phone. If it's ligit they leave a message.

DNC....no message, annoying

I saw that this number came in today on my Digitone Call Blocker history, the machine blocked it and I  was not disturbed by these scumbags trying to steal our hard earned money.  I had to break down and get this call blocker because my Time Warner call Block was filled and my phone was ringing everyday with calls from scammers, politicians and charaties.  The Do not Call list is only used to report scammers and businesses using abusive phone practices but it allows charaties and politicians to call as many times as they can,  I had to actually turn my phone off during the election because the Republicans were calling me every 15 minuets.  I have had the Digitone for a month and my phone rings only when I am getting calls from people I actually want to talk to, best investment of the year and best way to avoid these scumbag scammers.

Got this call on Tuesday.  Really made the woman's day.  She called asking fir my mother.  She passed lasr Friday an the funeral was Tuesday.  We were all there, i answered the phone.  Told the woman no she could not speak to my mother as we had buried her that morning.  The woman was shocked.  This is an absolutely true story.  When i hung up we all laughed, don't know if it were really funny, the stress of the day or the rum.  We are still laughing.

They called at 11:08 a.m. on 1/14/13, & we didn't answer. We knew it was a trick. We've also been getting a local "home security company" that keeps calling back under different incarnations & guises. We've reported them twice so far. Anyhow, the best approach is don't answer if you don't know who it is. Screen your calls, everybody, like Dick L. Says!

for anyone that checks this, go to fcc.gov, look for Complaints, fill out a form & send it in. the investigate all complaints & will send you an auto reply that they are. just remember your complaint #. i have done this a few times & haven't gotten any more calls from those i have reported.

Got call from this number requesting information regarding Medicare and Social Security. They wanted me to give them account numbers, medicare and social security numbers. I did not do it, told them they had my name and address and could mail me information. They hung up.  This is a SCAM!!!!!!

Need to stop these people from calling.  Left no message and no ID except for phone number that call was placed from.

Just received this call. Caller I.D. showed "name unavailable" The call was regarding Medicare.
1. I asked the lady the name of her company. She hung up.
2. I tried calling the number. A recording said the number was disconnected. Which means they are "spoofing" (faking) from this number to hide their true number.
3. All of the above PROVES this was a scam call trying to get private information from you (social security number, etc.).
4. We have been on the Do-not-call list for years. We have filed many complaints through the FCC. There is NO doubt that the agency (FCC?)  that  polices this program is truly worthless !!!!!!

received several calls from this number on my NET10 phone.  Just realized my phone has a built in tool that lets me block numbers.  I'm only a "little slow" (have had this phone for years) but then I'm old too.
