Received robo calls or hang ups when answered.

This # also appeared on my caller ID.  I never answer b/c I'm always at work during the times these scums make their calls.  My caller ID simply had Name Unavail below the #.

Apparently this is a scammer from the Dominican Republic.  Wanted to talk to to us about diabetic supplies. They are now on my blocked list.

Called me at 9:07am on 2/25 while at work.
I would NOT have answered this strange number if I were at home.
I hate whoever invented the technology to place mass robocalls cheaply and evade any Do Not Call lists.

Call came in at 6PM marked DOM REPBL CALL

First off, I don't answer calls that interrupt my dinner.  Secondly, I don't answer calls from foreign counties unless somebody I know has gone there.  

They didn't leave a message.

Call came , same as others with the medicare message. I hit 2 and asked the person what company and his name he said Chester and the company 'The American (something) Assoc" I said according to fcc laws I am on a do not call list and you are in violation and it is against the law to call me......they hung up.   If there  is any reason for homeland security you would think a bit of it should go to stopping crimals especially from other countries from carpetbagging/fleecing/preying on us the innocent citizen using telecommunications.....but no, government  is no longer as a main purpose a protector  of its citizens, we are just here to be farmed, I guess!  SO MANY scam calls to so many and no agency cares!

No ID, leaves no message.

THREE calls from this number in the past hour.  After a moment of silence, there is a pleasant young woman's voice saying "Hello, this is an urgent medicare message.  If you suffer from backache, press...

I am NOT on medicare, and I do not have a backache, so this is not urgent to me.

Recording said "This is a iimportant message from Medicare...." I hung up. They keep calling but I don't answer anymore.

Someone called here twice. The first time I wasn't home. No message was left. Second time, no answer, so I
hung up. I will not pick up next time.

I just got a call from the same exact number but did not answer because I didn't recognize the area code.

Just recieved a call from D Republic Call. I always google numbers I'm unsure of. If I don't know the number or name I don't pick up. It's probably another scam by the sounds of it.

this # called in the AM. No message left. This is the first time this # called.

I got a call from 8499634899 today as well.
I was on another line and didn't answer, fortunately.
I can't think why anyone would be calling me from the DR.

Just received a call from this number.  I did not answer it - no message was left.  I have been receiving alot of unknown calls recently even though I am on the "Do Not Call Registry".  Scammers.

Let it go to voicemail, left no message. Strange because I had just been talking to my electric company about changing my meter, but this number wasn't identified

This number, as stated above, came from a company proposing that medicaid recipients can receive "free" health care products by working through them.  FYI... Medicaid recipients receive those benefits (most often) through STATE-FUNDED programs and do not require a outside, for-profit agency to qualify or file on their behalf.  I pushed '1' when prompted.  A man came on the line and began telling me his name and how his company could help me "qualify" for "free" services through Medicaid.  He then asked me, "What can I do for you for "free" today, Mrs. __?"  I told him that he could remove our name from his call list as we were on the DO NOT CALL Registry.  He replied, "I WILL remove your name but not because you are on the list but because you have asked me too. "  I said, "And I am having to ask you to remove it because I AM on that list and should not have received the call in the first place."  He then said, "M'am!  Why are you being so rude and offensive?"  I actually laughed out loud.

Called with a recorded message about seniors and diabetes. hung up on them. They called right back and
a womens voice - american, said hello. I said can I help you and she hung up. I would love to find these type of scammers and bust their head open with a baseball bat.

Got a Call from this number,recording  asking if I was a senior with diabetes. pushed 2 to have my number removed from the calling list, said wait for a representative, someone said hello, asked them why they answered when I said remove my number. They said they just wanted to be sure I wasn't a senior with diabetes.

I DO like your method!  I will look for a whistle or other device that emits an ear-piercing sound.

Got first call from this number today. Did not answer. Added it to our block list.  Being on Federal and Pennsy Do Not Call lists is useless. We have filed complaints online to both Do Not Call "headquarters" and Pennsy sent us a written response saying that spammers have new methods of avoiding detection now.  They were not able to identify the parties using the various numbers we complained about.  Blocking numbers can give us some peace and quiet -- for a while.

Attempts to have my number removed seemed  to fail   Now depending on my mood I either let it go to answering machine and call is always terminated by them..But my favorite is to wait till I hear a person then
I take a whistle   and blow it  into the phone. The whistle works best !

I listened to the 'medicare' message. Press 1 to connect to person, or 2 to have name taken off.  I waited. A person, who spoke without an accent, gave me her name, and then what I thought was her company name. I asked, "what company are you from again"  and she hung up.

Just got this call, answered it .. do not have Caller ID - about Medicaid and diabetes ... pressed 2 to be removed and got a Hello and then said please remove me .. and was hung up on ..  If they are calling from the DR, they may be excluded from the DNC registry.
