I get these friggin calls EVERY day!  Almost always a diff. number,  I have filed complaint after complaint with the FCC online, this past week I called the FCC Fraud unit (very nice people there) and filed a formal complaint. I had kept a list for the past month of every # that called and they took all the #'s down.  I suggest you all do the same - keep a list of the #'s and report them once a month to the Feds...877-384-4357.  You should also report them to your state's attorney general's office.
The one who called me yesterday was desperate, she actually told me she works for a gov't agency, I asked her for what country. lol  Then they (she finally got a supervisor on the phone) were trying to convince me that only through them would I be protected by the Consumer Protection Laws, duh, I told them I already am!  Then she called me my husband's ex wife's name (they've been divorced 17 yrs), I told her I'd be more than happy to give them her number so maybe they could call her everyday instead of me, then she told me I'd have to prove I am who I say I am, that she would need my SS #... lmao.  I said, sure, let me call you at home, refuse to tell you who I am or who I work for, refuse to give you a legitimate call back # and ask for your SS, would you give it to me????  The 'supervisor' then gave me a web address and phone number, I asked them to hold on for a sec and I used my cell to call the # they gave me, it was Visa who said they did NOT authorize any calls...
I have always known it's a scam but I try to keep them on the phone as long as possible just to annoy them.  I have received 32 calls in the past 36 days... Pitiful.

Crank call with threatening overtones.  I seem to recall a similar deal that I actually responded to years ago.  It was all good until she asked what credit cards I had!  HMM. Here she was acting like she knew everything about me and needed me to give the credit card numbers.  Anyway, same kind of call and "Ryan" hung up on me when I finally got a word in edgewise and said that I needed to know his company name as I was on a do not call list.  Why did he have to ask me if I was responding to the credit card offer?  I think it's because this is the bogus auto warranty place as well.

They call from this number 2 to 3 times a day.  This last time I implied interest.  I made up a bunch of bogus information about how much I owed and how many credit cards I had.  I asked for website, they said they would give it to me once I qualified,  (yeah right).  I asked to call back the guy didnt know the number.  So he proceeds to ask for one of my credit card number.  I told him I didnt have the info on me.  I really just waisted his time for about 10 minutes asking all kinds of questions and then at the end I just thanked him for being so nice and patient with me and that I was going to have to decline today and probably any future offers from them since he couldnt provide any information about the company he worked for.  Will see if it works.

Although crude, I was able to end the calls from one of these numbers.  I let the salesperson go through their sales schtick, asked a couple of questions to imply interest, then asked if the salesperson would be willing to perform a sexual act.  I did this on 2 calls last month and have not heard from them again (3+ weeks).  Nothing infuriates these telemarketers more than being "played".
Some folks have had similar success with going through the whole schtick and then asking the salesperson to describe their underwear....

I received a call from this number. It was a recorded message about "lowering my interest rate". The message did not say the name of the company, just to press 1 to speak to customer service or 2 to be taken off the call list. I tried pressing 2 and was immediately disconnected. Not sure if I'm actually off the list yet as this was just last night.

Received similar call as other. When I pressed one and the caller answered, I asked why they were calling me. She gave a quick statement about lowering interest rates. When I asked why they were calling to solicit, she stated: "I wouldn't say that." I also mentioned being on the do not call list. When I asked what benefit they would get from the lowering of my interest rates she stated they get a portion of the saved finance charges. I then stated that that is a solicitation she again stated that "I wouldn't say that." She then quickly hung up on me.

Caller asked if I wanted to lower my interest rate on a credit card that I owed at least $3000 on.  During the conversation the caller asked for my credit card account number.  When I told that I didn't have all the information that she wanted, she said that she would call back on December 8

Likewise...same as above. I have been contacted by this company no less than three times in the past week.  "Last time to reduce credit card rate...".  Does not identify card company.  I am also on the do not call list.  This company needs to be taken down (offline) and the sooner the better.

This number is practically calling every day. We are on the Do Not Call Registry. We finally answered it and received the same message the others have stated however we disconnect and don't push any buttons. They still keep calling. Isn't there something that can be done with these people.

Answered the phone to hear the recorded message.  I figured it was a scam, but I didn't stay on the line to find out.  I don't have any credit cards, but it kind of scared me for a split second because my college age daughter does and I first thought, "Uh-oh".  I googled the number and ended up here...

Woman called saying I had past due accounts - had not responded to multiple calls -and this was the last opportunity to do something.  Basically tried to scare me into thinking my accts were past due and credit would be cut off.

I pressed 1 to talk to a representative and asked which account- of course she had no info and was fishing.  I told her she should be shot for trying to scare people.  She told me I had a potty mouth...
