did not answer, no message left

850-265-5032 showed up on my caller ID, but no message was left on my answering machine.  I called back and got "That number isn't in service....".

Just like those above call from Lynn Haven, Fl "heather' message about lowering interest rates..and that my time was almost up pres 1 for a person press 2 to unsubscribe...1st time i received a call.I hung up.and googled the number. Found you guys!

A caller ID idenified as Karleen Everett called but was a recorded message telling for a limited time I could lower my credit card's interest rate. I pushed 1 and got a live operater. I told him that I wished to be removed from their phone call list since I don't accept solicitations on the phone. I also told him since my phone is on the national DO NOT CALL LIST it was a federal crime to call my house advertising, the man said "if it's a crime, arrest me then".

I got that same message too!

Recieved call from this number multiple times. I am on the DNC and have filed complaint with FCC and FTC. I spoke with the company a couple times and they first said I would not recieve any more calls. The next time, the employee hung up on me.

Recorded message from Heather regarding the balance I don't have on the credit card I don't carry.  She sounded sexy but her company can go to hell.

Received a call from Lynn Haven, Fl. The message said they would lower my interest rate on my credit card. I pressed 1 for more info. the person who came on the line asked for my name, I responded "you called me". She saie "that was a machine". Then I said, the caller also did not state what credit card they were referring to, "I have more than one". She hung up.

Got a call yesterday. Caller ID showed 850-265-5032, Lynn Haven, FL. Pressed 1 to speak to live person, guy asked for my name, I started giving him my phone number, he hung up. I've had 6 or 8 calls from "Cards Services" in the last several months, with different or no Caller ID displays - they always call with the "lower your interest rate" approach. If a number is displayed, it is always phony (as was this one). I've tried pressing 2 to be removed, but it doesn't work (big surprise). Whenever I talk to the live body, as soon as I start saying anything about phone number, they hang up. I'm on the do not call registry. Each time they call, I file a do not call violation complaint with the FTC.

Same caller as all the other ones.  This has to be a scam, once i pressed 1 and spoke to a real person, i immediately asked the person's name and the company they worked for the man told me he worked for Bealer Services, trying to sell warranty something or another.  I told him this was a place of business and never to call here again and i wanted to be removed from the list, he told me to hold on and connected me to an automated line giving me the donotcall.gov website....this is a scam perpetrated by rude people to get credit card information...please warn all you can about this number

fcc won't do anything about it, plus, once you put your name on the do not call list, i promise you that you'll receive far more b***s*** calls...the gov't sells that information

What a useful site this is. Yeah, I got the same Karleen Everett with the 850-265-5032 number. Googled it to Florida. I don't ever pick up the phone though for unknown area codes, names, and numbers. Thanks to everyone who reported it.

I'm on the Do Not Call Resitry & this is the 3rd call I've gotten from these creeps. I've hung up on them & reported them, so this was the first time I listened long enough to here that you can "press 2 to be removed from the list". I did press 2, but then reported them-YOU CAN TOO!!

If you are on The National Do Not Call Registry, they get a $5000 fine for unwanted calling. It only takes a minute & then you have to wait 30 days for the system to kick in, but there is great satisfaction in knowing they will PAY DEARLY for trying to pull that garbadge on us! The BBB can only help with business transactions, although I'm grateful they do there job too.

I got mine! It's a great resource that people should be using more often. If we all did it, these b****eads would have to pay attention & discontinue.

I just reported the same number to the FCC.  I also informed the operator calling from "Consumer Services" that is what I intended to do and asked if she understood what that meant.  She said yes and hung up.

I called the better business bureau, and there's nothing they can do about this if they don't have the company name or any information.  I was told telemarketers frequently program a different number in to the caller I.D.  Don't be fooled by them and also warn people to never give out information over the phone.  Call their credit card company back, but don't offer any info.

I believe this person is running a scam on people.  He wanted to lower my interest rate on my credit card, and when I stated that this isn't regarding my card, is it?  It's for a new account, he said "no you're deaf and you don't want to pay attention.  Enjoy your day!" and hung up on me.  I believe this is a scam and something needs to be done before some poor person gives all their credit information away.

for got to add Florida time of call 1:08 pm and I hit #1 and it just did nothing but dead air. I called the number and I get recording saying that the number is disconnected or no longer in service.

A recorded message from a "Heather" stating they'll give a lower on an interest rate on my credit card.  I do not have any credit cards.  The message says to push a 1 for a live operator but no one ever comes onto the line.  Very aggravating. I'm on the DO NOT CALL REG. What good is it when you call your phone company, no one wants to do anything about these types of scams.

Tis number is currently not on the National Do Not Call List.  They called today and we did not answer and no message left.  What is the point of the Do Not Call List?

Only to find out this is telemarketing!!! They found a way around the "do not call" list!!!! The caller I.D. made it seem like a residential number!!! Crooks!!!!!

Same as other posts: "1" for a person, "2" to be removed from call list.  Difference from other calls:  They wanted to sell extended auto warranty service.  I pressed "1" and asked the idiot the name of her company.  She said "Bealer Services", then she asked the make and model of my car.  I responded by asking if her company enjoyed paying $10,000 fines for calling people on the 'do not call' list.  She hung up.  I registered their phone number with www.donotcall.gov.  Hope they burn in Hell.

Have received several calls. Finally pressed #1 to speak with a person. A man answered asking (rudely) why I was calling. I asked the company name, but he wouldn't respond.

Thanks for the link to file the complaint with the FCC - my phone company would not help one bit!

I just reported this company to the FCC.  It is really simple, just visit fcc.gov and fill out an on line form 1088.

I have received repeated calls from this number with the recording saying This is Heather. I am on the do not call list.  I have pressed 2 per the recording to remove myself from their list but they keep calling.  Today I pressed 1 to get to a person. When someone answered I said I wanted to file a complaint and the woman screamed back at me saying no one called you, that was a machine and then she hung up.

"heather" - i hung up.  what happened to the "do not call list????"
