Miss the calls, call back and get a recording from someone who claims to be the lead in non profit funds organization

I just had the exact same thing happen to me.... Asked who he was trying to reach and everything and he just kept talking

Update, I called the number back and it laughed in my face and said "youve just been pranked by PrankDial.com. If you'd like to block your number please press 4. So I did.

got a call from this number 850-270-7728 twice. first time the guy sounded russian and told me i was a stupid girl and i was wasting his time and asked me where i was. i told him he was stupid and hung up. 5 minutes later i got another call and this guy was american and said he was from Yellow Cab and said i ordered a cab and got in the car and when i got to my destination i bailed and didnt pay the cab fare. I asked when did this take place and where and he refused to give me a date or place. told me "you cant just order a cab and not pay for it and you are legally responsible for this bill GENIUS" I responded he was legally responsible to take me to court then GENIUS, and hung up. The reason I know this is a scam is because I no longer live in the state much less AREA CODE this guy called me from.

I don't talk any company not listed with the BBB especially the ones that can't get theirstory straight

These people call here for someone that does not live at this number. I have given them the right number, they say they will take my number out of their system, and a few days later they call again. I am so tired of getting calls for people that do not live at my number. These collection people are very rude and need to be stopped.

Got a missed call.  No voicemail so I called from a different phone number.  Said his name was Josh calling from HSF (still not sure what that's supposed to stand for).  I asked what was the reason for his call.  He asked for the phone number they called but when I refused to give it to him after he admitted that his "computer probably called by mistake", he proceeded to scream in my ear about "you don't want to give me any information but you're asking me all these questions". I said "thank you" and hung up as I know NOT one legitimate business would ever be so unprofessional as "Josh" was

Have received multiple calls on land line and cell.  Saying they are debt collectors, no way, I do not answer any more but this is annoying.  Forget about no call list, it seems to be worse when you are on that list.

called all the way out to Ohio three times in one day.  No caller ID name or message left.  Number blocked.

Tell HSF to go f*** them self's 1-224-935-9046,1-224-935-9048, 1-888-487-6127, 1-888-860-3022, 1-850-270-3022, 1-850-270-4055. They have to leave some time from the office. We can put an end to it.

Caller ID Shows HFS - recorded message mentions a case # and if you don't response your file is being elevated to the loss mitigation department.  

I keep receiving calls from this number and they are asking for someone that I don't know.  I keep telling them that and they keep calling me. I am so tired of these people.  

These idiots call and call and when I answer no one speaks.  I call the number back the same one that called (850.270.4055) and it says they are not taking calls at this time...after they just called ME!!!  UUGGH!!!   so I just blocked them from reaching me ... ring ring ... no one answers!!

I received a call from this number and it didn't pull up anything from my cell phone book so of course I didn't answer.  I know if something is important, they'll leave a voice mail. After reading these comments, I'm glad I didn't answer.
I operate on the policy that if it's important, the caller will leave a voice mail with their contact information for a call back.  They left no voice mail.
Last month I received calls about twice a week with an automated message asking if I know a "Jeremiah Smith" and what's wierd is while the message played, it would lock up my phone so I couldn't hang up.  I thinking about taking my phone to my vendor to have it checked.  It wouldn't surprise me if those calls and this one are connected.

Do not want to be called from this number again.

Called back and was told that my number would be taken off the auto-dialer within 24 hours. I have spoke with this collection agency before several times and the calls do stop for a few months and then start back up. I have had my number for 4 and a half years but still keep getting collection calls for the person that had the number before me! It is annoying as hell especially when your phone starts buzzing in middle of meetings etc. Unfortunately, I have started to accept it as a part of my life now. :)

Ok this number has now called me, and its for the same person I received a call for a year ago, but under a different 800 number. I have told these numbers numerous times to stop calling because I have no association with the person they are trying to contact. Their response is that they will take me off their database, but this has obviously not happened. Yes, I have a little debt, but those places and I have arranged payments because they know we suffered a house fire and were financially strapped. But as far as that there's no reason my number should be repeatedly called all hours of the day for a person, who's name I can't even pronounce! I first asked them if it was a business because that's what it sounded like. Then they told me no, it was a person. But I'm at a loss as to what to do for these people to stop calling my number for somebody I don't even know! Its getting old, especially when they call and we have our kids in bed!  

Received a missed call from this number, but because it is my area code I called it back. A woman answered and said, "Quality Glass Pro." I stated that I received a missed call from them, but had not done business with them at all. She said that someone must have misdialed and got my number. There is not a business by that name in town.

Still getting calls for Tanya Goodrich; just people earning an hourly wage using lists of last known phone numbers that are recycled. I'm not mad, but I wish I could find Tanya myself and point the people to her.

I just a call from 850-270-7728 trying to con me into paying unpaid parking tickets from 2008 .he said his name was bill and was calling from the court house .I asked him who exactly he was trying to speak with and just kept talking I asked again who he was trying to speak with because i don't have any parking tickets or any other citations.
this is  obviously and attempt to get credit card information.

Received a call they hung up immediately after I answered.....I called back about three times each time someone picked up I heard noise in the background and they hung up each time.....tired of this crap

I keep getting a call from this company or whatever it is. They call me day & late at night when i'm sleeping & I am getting tired of it. Once I answer it they don't answer or they make up a name then I just hang up. I want it to stop especially at night.

they called my husband asking for his ex wife, who lives a thousand miles away from us. They said she  (who doesn't have his #) gave them his number for a contact # & they were investigators.
