I got a call from this number along with any different numbers like this. We all have. I am on the do not call list. Oh course most of us are. I figured out how they get thru on my phone. I have never really paid attention to the way my phone rings when I am home to actually answer these calls. But if anyone on here uses ATT phone service as you should know you can have up to three different phone lines or numbers for one account. I just got a new plan not long ago and noticed that with that plan it adds the other two lines itself. It doesn't cost more just part of the plan. So know I get calls for all kind of people and I noticed alot of my junk calls like this one are coming thru my extra phone lines. So if you think it is happening to you think about asking your phone company if all your avaible lines are in use like mine are. I only use one but if anyone calls the other two they still work and come in on my phone. Now alot of my unwanted calls make more sense to me now. If you use ATT all you have to do is log into your account online and it shows the different lines and numbers just as plain as day. I have never really paid alot of attention to it till like yesterday. And notice my main line said line 1 then I scrolled down to find a line 3 and 4 with different numbers. So I called to see and sure enough my phone rang just with a little bit of a different ring.

I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry and have reported this number.  Perhaps I'll just call them another 30 times and hang up.....

If you are not already on the national do not call registry, you should do so immediately. After 31 days, you can report them. When the FTC gets enough calls, they seem to have a way of stopping them.

I also received a call from this number. I pushed #1 thinking that I would tell them to put me on the Do Not Call list. When a person came on the line, I asked what company he represented at which point, he disconnected me. I called the number back and was told it was disconnected. It really bothers me in that no one can do anything about calls like this.

got the call1 on 16th of October 2008 from 850-478-7852 at 1pm about extended warranty on vehicle telling me it was the "last chance to re-up it"

I use to work near P-Cola so I know the area code well, thats why I answered Im on the "National No call list"  I see how thats working for me.

I called back and got the disconnected speach "code 14".   can anyone stop this jerk!!!!

These crooks called today.

It's a scam, they ask for credit card numbers and then charge your account until they max it out.

Caller ID appears to be spoofed since the number is not valid.  The guy had a weird accent, maybe a slur in his speech.  I asked him about his services and he said they work with Visa and MasterCard to reduce my interest rates.  I asked him which card he was referring to and he hung up.  I called back and the number was not valid.

I received a prerecorded sales call from this number, offering to lower my interest rates. It did not specify the interest rates on what or identify the company. I have received the same prerecorded call from other phone numbers in the past. I pressed two to be removed from their list, despite the fact that it did not work on prior calls. If you receive a call like this, report it to the FCC immediately. Even if you're not on the Do Not Call List, the company must identify itself when calling. If you are on the Do Not Call List, report it on the Do Not Call List Web site, as well.

Same thing - get the same recording.  When I speak with someone, they say they're calling from my state.  I try to get them to remove me from their list and they hung up.  continue to call me.  I'll be contacting the dept. of consumer protection.

Was told they work in connection with MC, Visa and Citi Bank, ect. and we may be eligible to lower our interest rates. I asked if it was a debt relief company and the gentleman called me a stupid B**** and hung up.

This number keeps calling me, but never says anything when I answer.  UGH!

I have received numerous calls from this number.  If I answer, I get a recording that begins "Do not be alarmed. This is your last chance to lower your interest rate...."   In the past, I always have pressed #2 to remove my name from their calling list, but they keep calling.  This time, I pressed one to talk to a person so I could ask them to please quit calling me. When John or Josh came on the line he said "Would you like to lower your interest rate?"  I began explaining that what I was actually trying to do was get my name off their list.  He interrupted me mid-sentence and said "Shut you mouth," and then hung up. When I tried to call the number back, I got a recording that it had been disconnected.

Works well. As soon as you get a live person yell, scream and bang into the phone and tell them next time it will be a whistle and remove your name. Works. Did this to two different annoying telemarketers that the Do Not Call did not remove.

I waited several minutes to find out what company they were from.....finally someone answered my call "Credit Services."  When I asked the name of the company he repeated "Credit Serives."  While I was stating that "Credit Services was not an actual credit card company"....he hung up on me!  SCAMMERS

Constant calls from this number...  On do not call list and they are aware of this....  Have reported to FBI... white crimes list...  Return call to this number says "it's disconnected"  Phone company is unwilling to disconnect...

Same as others.  Keep calling me.  Sometimes using different phone numbers,
but message is the same.  Just want to get this on the record.

Knew this was phony, but I still pressed 1 to ask which credit card they were calling about -- surprise! They hung up on me.

This number calls me daily.  who are they?

Someone called from this number and left a message on my machine - sounded impatient and angry, made it sound like a collection call.  Said "This is the last time we're going to call you before ...".  I am also on the Do Not Call list, for all the good it does!

These annoying people won't quit calling. This should be illegal. I am sick of these rude people at the number  850-478-7852  How do I report this?

on my caller ID I only answer calls I recognize. I Googled this number as I have friends in the 850 area and wondered why they didn't leave me a message.
Before I was on the do not call I would get calls showing from the local hospital and it would be someone selling something. How evil is that.

Just got a call from this number as well, about 1:00 PM PST.  This isn't the first time they have called either.  I'm going to file a complaint with the FCC.  This should be illegal and I too am on the Do Not Call List.

Now this scammer is calling about lowering credit card interest payments. It's the same piece of garbage that kept calling 3 to 5 times a week about these ripoff car warranties. "press 2 to be taken off the list" did not work for the car warranty calls and it won't work for these calls either.

I reported it to the donotcall website and will be reporting it to the Texas State Attorney General's office. They'll act faster than the FCC/FTC.

Got a call from 7852 that is the only part of the number that showed up on my ID. So don't even know if it is from this particular phone number. NOT A CLUE, but no message was left. ????
