Put something on craigslist to sell and got an email to text to this # with my paypal account so they could send me the money. The person said not to call because they r in the military and can't answer. Glad I looked into this number! Thanks

don't know why children services from 850 area code (Florida) would be calling Ohio?

Got a call at 8:30 last night from this number.  ID themselves as children services and specifically asked for my husband by name.  When he got on the line she said sorry to have bothered you, I will call at a more convenient time and hung up.  I dialed star 69 to get the number and nobody answered, have tried several times to call and no one answers.  I reported this to the local children services department and they stated it must be some sort of scam.

I got a call earlier today from this number.  I live in Indiana, this call is from Milton Florida.  I had to check it out because I am seeking a job in Child Services with the State of Indiana.  This might need to be reported to the BBB just in case it is a marketing tactic scam.  If anything they would be able to direct us in the right direction of reporting the call.  Same thing..they hung up as soon as the call was answered.  hmmmmm

Apparently they're still at it, received a call from them with Child Services on the ID, when answering machine picked it up, they hung up.

We received a call while we were out, no message was left, but the ID said "Child Services" - we were concerned as to why we would be receiving a call from Child Services.  We did try to get back but found that it was either engaged, and then finally on getting through it appeared that another number was being dialled while we were connected; no one was at the other end of the phone.

I don't know who these people are, but they call almost every day.  I finally answered today and they hung up.  If they are telemarketers they sure have a losy day of doing business.  I couldn't even give them a piece of my mind, because they hang up.  Crooks, they have to be crooked or they wouldn't operate this way.

Several calls from this #.  No messages are left and when I have answered no one responds.
I'm glad I googled the # and found this site.  I am signed up on the no call list. Now, I'll explore how to report.

My son answered a call earlier today, caller ID is children services.  They asked for my husband by name which is odd because his name isn't attached to this phone.  When told he wasn't available they asked for me by name.  Wouldn't leave a message and they don't answer return call.

Just received a call from these idiots.....my caller ID showed Children Services. My son answered and said I wasn't home. Their answer was they would call back. Now after reading these posts, I know what to answer to them.

We just recieved this same call (850-564-5415), they said they were child services and asked for the person (by name, which is my daughter) that is listed because she has her own phone number in her room. Her caller ID said Child Services. When I asked who it was, they said they had to speak to her only and hung up. Im glad I picked up her phone. We are going to be careful and hope that someone takes action from this type of marketing tactic.

My friend called them back got them on the phone. They said they were out of Columbus Ohio and they are a charity for children with disabilities of some sort. So they are telemarketers.

I just received the same phone call, whats up with this crap? When I call back, it rings, and then someone picks up and it dials my number, then it clicks, and dials another number...this is concerning, and irritating = I

Same issue 8505645415 called our number however someone did answer and asked for a family member then hung up.  They will not answer if you call back.

I received a call from an ID as Child Services from (850) 564-5415.  It seemed strange that I would be getting a call from them, but when I answered they other end seemed like they hung-up.  Don't know what's going on, but according to these post it's happening too much.  Earlier today, I received another call from an ID of State Funds at (860) 791-6712 that did the same thing.

I answered the telephone and there was no one there.
