Well don't look at us;  you should be able to handle this on your own.  Just google for "ftc" or "fcc" or "dncl" and I'm sure you'll figure it out...but if you don't there's lots of good folks here willing to help....if you can get past the sarcasm  LOL.

Hey, I just got a call from the same guy. He said his name is Kevin and he met me in Toronto too....I asked him if he was trying to sell something and he said he just wanted to say hi - a little freaked out as well.

Just received a text from this number asking if this was still my number?  I asked who this was then they called me to say "hi". I have no idea who this person is it what they wanted?  Said his name is Kevin and he met me through George a few years ago? He's in Florida now and maybe in Toronto soon?  I'm a little freaked out.

I've received a few text msgs from this individual who claims they have met me?  I can't recall who they are, at one point he even called saying I met him in Toronto...  did they happen to tell you who they were?

yes, i just got a TEXT from some person saying. "Hey is this (my name)." "Lol"
Yeah...real funny. But i googled the phone number and of course found the above post from Rich. So evidently this is one (probably) of those TELEMARKETERS!!! Ugh...cannot stand those people and their sneaky ways to contact others.
The elderly are the people who would be most confused by these types of calls/texts. I feel sorry for the elderly people in the world.  
UGH....go away spammers/telemarketers etc...!!
