called not answered

FYI:  My wife almost didn't answer the phone when she saw the caller ID of "FLORIDA MKTG", but she decided to pick up the phone to pass along a few choice words.  It turned out to be our first call from our son in South Korea using Skype, a computer based phone service.  I guess we'll see if his second call routes the same way.

I had a call from this guy before using a 914 area code phone number. I looked up that number and found out that this company was a scam. They call people telling them that they took out a payday loan that they never paid back. He actually left a message on my phone where he actually stated at the end that "and yes, this is a threat...". He called today from this number (always a lot of noise in the background and he is of some type of middle eastern decent and he has to practically yell). I told him that I was not who he was looking for and that I sent his threatening message to my lawyer and they would be getting in contact with him. I hung up and he called right back. He was saying that he wanted my lawyer's information. I told him that I was not even who he was looking for but I did not agree with anyone leaving a message like that on anyone's phone especially before they knew whether it was who they were looking for or not. I hung up several times with him calling right back every time. He kept threatening to have the cops come remove me from my home and take me to court for a whatever. I let him ramble on, he even proceeded to tell me the social security number of who they were looking for right over the phone. Real ethical. He said he had their place of employment information, email, social security number and bank account information. I asked what the call was even about and he told me that "I" took out a payday loan from CASH MATE EXPRESS and never paid it back (just like all the other internet complaints said they would) so I asked them if they had the person's bank account info and they actually did take out a REAL loan through this REAL company why would they pay someone to make harassing phone calls making threats when they could just take it right out of their bank account with the information that they already had. I proceeded to tell them that they were nothing but a scammer company and that I was going to report them to the FBI and then him and his "company" would be the ones hauled off by a bunch of cops into a courtroom!!! I hung up and this time he didn't call back. It only took about 10-12 times of me hanging up on him and him calling right back and going back and forth all in about 10-15 minutes for him to finally stop calling. I am sure I will hear from him again soon. Companies like that don't give up until they are busted. They figure you will eventually give in and give them money to make them shut up or stop calling. DON'T  ANSWER! DON'T PAY THEM A DIME! REPORT THEM!
