I have recd several calls from this number 850-615-0958 from a Joseph Anderson who said that I would be arrested if I didn't wire them $100.00 by tomorrow.  I have no outstanding dept and told them that his telephone # was listed on the internet as a scam.  Then he proceeded to say "go ____ your mother" and other abusive language and I terminated the call.  He then called me back on a blocked # and told me that I would be arrested and taken to jail if I didn't wire the money to him.  He is calling from Florida and has a thick Middle Eastern or Indian accent. I would not send them 1 red cent as this is totally a scam!!

This man claiming his name was Joe Anderson with a middle eastern accent called from this number. He claimed I owed a small overdue debt and that if I didn't pay he was going to report me to the csi. Then when I asked for the company name I supposedly took the loan from he just kept threatening me with the csi and then with court. Then when I refused to pay he started cursing at me and demanded I pay him for the debt. When I told him I was going to report him he hung up on me.

Just got a call from the same number, but didn't answer it, as I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I have received calls like this in the past, and it was the same scenario - heavy accent, but American name, threats and even swearing and verbal abuse... I have reported them to all available sources, and nothing stops them. They even called my sister and parents!!!! I have no clue how they got their numbers - said they found them by my social security number - SCARY!!!

Just got the same call. He wanted my attoney to contacthim cause i owe money. I told him imediately that if i actually owed a debt they are required by law to send something in writting. He said they did, I told him he was a liar and I was going to file a complaint with the fcc, bbb, fbi, and my state attorneys office. He still claimed i owe a debt and that I would be arrested. Funny. Anyways somehow these people get your info and try to scare you into paying them. Whatever you do DON'T EVER pay them.

I received a ca;; from 850-615-0958 just now and a man named Joe Anderson stated that I owed his company money. I have never taken any money from any lending company besides my student loans, and I know for a fact that they are up to date and being paid for through Sallie Mae. When I asked Joe what his company's name was, he stuttered and gave me a very vague description of his company saying that he is an attorney. Like Sharon's call above, this man had a very heavy middle eastern accent and was demanding money. He even stated that he would send a Sheriff to my work to have me arrested. HA! I told him to stop calling me and I am going to report this number the the FCC and if possible the FBI.

I received a call from this number yesterday. The man had a very heavy middle eastern or hispanic accent, but said that his name was Joe Anderson. He said that I need to hire an attorney because I was going to be arrested for a past debt. First of all, I don't have any old debt. Second, you cannot be arrested for having debt. This is a total scam call. Just another scam artist looking for a sucker to steal money from. If you get a call from this number or this person, please report it to the FCC or even possibly the FBI's Internet Crime unit. This is where they are obviously getting the information to contact me. I've already reported this to both agencies.
