1.  If you don't recognize the number and you're not waiting for a very important phone call (e.g. you must answer the phone to win a $70,000,000 cash prize), then don't answer and just let the call go to voice mail.
If its that important, the caller will leave a message.

2.  Sometimes medical facilities won't leave a message, but if you're waiting to hear lab results, etc., just call the medical facility back after googling the number.

3.  If tthe number is a mystery number and they don't leave a message, then NEVER talk to them or answer the call because they're either a bill collector, scam artist, or not worth the bother since they didn't leave a message in the first place.

Just dont respond to unknown callers.  Too easy people (eye roll)

Same thing here. Why are they allowed my number when they are blocked. They apparently think if they badger a person, the person will give-in. They did not leave a msg. When I saw the Highway Patrol solicitation, I thought, "Oh, no." Periodically, throughout the year, they have phoned.

12:25PM CST let it ring and didn't answer.  No message.  Good to know who they were.  Gave before but now limit charity to the homeless shelter.

RECEIVED A CALL GUY STATED THAT HE WAS CALLING FROM THE FHP STATE TROOPERS, THIS IS A SO TYPICAL. THESE PEOPLE ARE REALLY JUST LOBBYIST TRYING TOO ANNOY PEOPLE IT HAPPENS EVERYTIME THAT THERE IS A POLITICAL DEBATE. MAY GOD HELP THEIR SOUL!!!

4 rings and a hang up

phone rang during dinner. answered, nobody there.  called back and got "all circuits are busy at this time".  if I get thru later, I will identify them here.

Got call from this # and I was on another call so I didn't answer. Missed called indicated just Pensacola, Fl and the #.  I tried calling to see who it was but it rang and sounded like a fax machine type call. I hung up. I have gotten calls from someone in Pensacola lately, since I wasn't home it went to answering machine but didn't leave message. Today is the first time I have tried to call back. I am tired of this.!!!

Tired of getting calls from this number.  If it is the Florida Highway Patrol, as some people have said, shame on them.  Please stop!! We are on the "Do Not Call' list.  What part of DO NOT CALL do they not understand.

If our number is unlisted or has ever been unlisted by a prior person they make shot in the blind calls. They pretty raise money for legal fights for troopers. Usually I don't bother to donate, but this year I am. Only because I feel Gov. Scott needs the legal challenges and he is eyeing the Troopers for more of his radical tea party beliefs. He has no respect for the law. Otherwise I would just hang up. But know they will continue to call you back.

So you are supporting crooks who don't pay attention to the law due to your misinformed opinion of Governor Scott and the Tea Party.  I told them to put me on their "do not call" list and they hung up, making them guilty of a felony so it sounds like you support felons.  Idiot!

Call shows up as "Florida Call."  Caller is from Florida Association of State Troopers, thanking me for last years contribution and wanting to verify my address so they can send my pledge card out for this year for the same amount as last year, $50.00.  I NEVER contribute to these things and tell the caller so, he said it may have slipped my mind but I've been a loyal supporter so let him just confirm this address...  Needless to say, I didn't.

This number calls several times each day - at various times of day and evening sometimes as late as 9 PM. As we do not recognize the number, and the caller(s) leave no message, we will not respond. Very annoying to get calls like this.

Don't like mystery calls and if and when this number appears on my caller ID again, I will not be answering. I don't care who they are or what they want. Hanging up after 1 ring is rude.

They keep calling. Picked up the phone just 2 see who it is. Picked up and they said to hold while the call was connected. Waited Its Florida highway Patrol. Wanting  donations. Told them Times are hard and not this year. That doesnt stop them they keep calling. You have to get their name and tell them to take you off their call list. We'll see if this stops them.
