What I don't understand, there have been thousands of complaints about this, thousands cards cancelled, and thousands police reports filed so we can get our money back, how come Waskins.com has not been shut down or something?

I also just found a charge from waskins.com on my bank statement and also the number is disconnected...had to call bank and get new debit card. I advise anyone who also receives this to do the same it is a scam!!

I called the bank today and was told there was a charge on my acccount for $4.80 from a company called Waskins.com - Who the heck is this....Can no one do anything about this to stop whatever they are doing.  I had to cancel my credit card and wait a week to get a new one - BIG INCONVENIENCE HUGE! 4/6/12

My story is similar to everyone else's. I was charged 4.80 and this number was on my bank account as "WASKINS.COM 850-745-5088 FL". I have no idea why I was charged or how these people got my account information, but it's an enormous headache. The 850 number just goes to a voicemail (though the message, left by some guy in broken English, lies about non-existent "operators" being unable to take my call due to a high call volume). Had to cancel my card over such a small amount. Some one need to stop them.

I have a $4.80 chg on my acct as of yesterday and I made a purchase thru e-bay and paid using paypal, too. I am contacting my bank as soon as I finish this and will notify my State Attorney's office after that. This is a pain in the b***, and now I will have to wait till I get a new card. Also, I will notify paypal and e-bay so they are aware of what's happening. I tried the number like a lot of others on this post and got the recording that all operators were busy and to leave a message or contact them on their website.

I too have been hit with this and get the message in broken english that they are busy and will call back.  I have sent numerous emails (using the email address and instructions on their website which is still up) to the company and even got an auto-generated reply back from them but no return phone call.  I have also threatened criminal charges.  Also filed a report as suggested with the Florida Attorney General and am trying to do so with Georgia Attorney General's office and police.

This phone number was listed as belonging to a Florida company,  WASKINS. COM,  who is making fraudulent scam charges to unsuspecting credit card holders.   It appears that 1000's of people are filing reports, disputing he charges and having to change their credit cards. The criminals reportedly have had their phone disconnected by Verizon and have pulled their website.

This is a version of the automatic debit scam as described by the FTC here http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/telemarketing/tel06.shtm  It's frequently mysterious as to how they got your account info in the first place. They might be fraudulently charging accounts at random, or you might have provided your account for a free something like $-off coupon or a shopping card (just pay for shipping), or provided your account when you applied for a payday loan, and buried in the fine print is authorization to auto-charge your account every month with 3rd-party, perhaps difficult-to-cancel subscriptions. The methods used to get you to "agree" to the fine print is endless and they come up with new schemes every day.
To stop the billing, call the biller to kill the subscription and get your money back and if that fails, tell your card issuer or bank that fraud has occurred and have them refund the money and replace the account - this is important, the account must be replaced because criminals have it and they can charge again or sell account info to other criminals. Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG http://www.naag.org/current-attorneys-general.php as appropriate.

I was looking over my bank statement and saw a charge for 3.75 from waskins.com phone 850-260-0453 I called and got voice mail. I made no such charge/purchase and have no clue as to how they have my debit card info but this is unexceptable. I will call my bank first thing mon. to cancel debit and report fraud.

On 3/8/12 an unauthorized charge of $4.80 by WASKINS.COM 850-745-5088 FL was noted on my account. I have done just about everything all posters have suggested! Where has this fraud originated??? I reside in NY state. What more can be done to track down this fraud? Do I contact the FL Attorney General?

Noticed a charge on my debit card...$7.70 for waskins.com. Same story here as with the rest....tried to call their number and only got a recording. They even have a web site that looks legit, but it is probably just for show. Called my bank and had to cancel my debit card.

Any of you using a BotO's (abbreviated, you'll know what I'm talking about if you are using it) debit card by chance? This bank is in several southern states, and last week announced there has been a breech of security, and over 200 cases of debit card fraud in one small town (my town) alone of around 5k. Reports of very small amounts up to several thousand dollars. The bank is issuing refunds to those who were involved. This is also my bank. Go figure...

There is a charge of $4.80 on my account from WASKINS.COM 850-745-5088 FL .  Never heard of them and when I called there was only a machine to leave a message.

Hi Ana. I haven't ordered anything from Amazon since I got my new card. I am however fixing to have to place a order and I hope this don't happen again. I do agree Amazon might have something to do with these charges, if you order from them again make sure the order is fulfilled by amazon and not a amazon market place seller. I think that's where the problem lies. Anyway, after placing this order I'll post back if I have strange charges in the future. One way or another we'll track this down and figure out how our card numbers are being exploited.

I just found a charge on my check card from waskins.com for $3.75. I too  just ordered from Amazon.com. I called my bank, contested the charge and had my card cancelled. A new one will be issued. I'm going to contact amazon and the florida state attorney office. I have a feeling it has something to do with amazon.com. Uuughhh

i called waskins.com no answer straight to voice mail and i don't even know what they sell.

I just filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General from the link provided.  My bank statement showed a charge of $6.75 to Waskins.com and a phone number.  I called the number and it was not a working number.  My bank is going to give me a credit but I've had to obtain a new debit card.  Thanks for posting the link to complain!

was hit by these people also.  Notice it was shortly after I use the debit card at a station run by some people from Indian.  Not sure yet if it has a connection but working on it.  They make a small charge then latter make a larger one fro some where else then later a small one to make sure it is working so they can keep milking you dry.

I've been hit to from here Waskin.com 850.745.5088,fl and tutor 2 U and site call sports.  Call the bank.  Planning on filing more claims else where.  There nothing but dirt bags and I will get them some how.

They got me to yesterday February 9, 2012 for $4.80. The problem is, that because it is such a small amount, the bank doesn't pursue it as a fraudulent charge, they just write it off.

Same thing happened to me. Found a charge for $3.75 on my account this evening called my bank and the police about these idiots. Now my card is cancelled and I have to get a new one. Go get your own money.

they charged $6.75 to my account by using my debit card, my bank with reverse the charge, issue a new card once I complete a fraud packet. The phone number states the call will not go through.
