Receivedd calls from Heather Lawson claiming to be from attorney general's office and they were calling to get my address so the sherriff could serve an arrest warrant on me for a payday loan.  They would not tell me what company, they said they could not give out that information.  Unfortunately, I made arrangements to pay because I was afraid of getting arrested and they got a few hundred dollars fom me.

I just got a call for a Mark Campbell, stating he worked for the state investigation department for Lafayette county courthouse. He said i took out a payday loan for $200. He said a warrant had been issued and that if i didnt pay $150 to cancel it i would go to jail. He was rude and made threat to me. I did some resource the company is a debt collection company.   They said I was being charge with
loan fraud , online fraud and check fraud charges.

I a got called from the same number 850-778-1013 stating that she was with legal state criminal department and name was a paralegal Jenny Marshall.  You could hardly understand her and could not even pronounce her own name.  It sounded like she was reading from a scipt.  What is funny, at the end of every call they always says GOD Bless, really are your serious.  She had and accent just like the other callers.   Told me that their is warrant out for my arrest, I already notified the police and my job.  Nothing but a scam.  They are made because I told that I reported them to the police. Please do not give into these people.  BIG SCAM!!!  I had to change my phone telephones, beancuse when you blcok one number, they start using another.  Also, watch they are using 1911, so you cannot see what number is calling you, so be careful.   I cannot wait until they get caught.  There is a FBI scam alert about payday loan scams.  BEWARE!!!

I got 2 calls from (he left a voice mail) "Brian White"  with a foreign accent, couldn't understand what he was saying except: phone # and lawsuit, and US legal deptartment.  So I called back to see if the caller ID # (which was different from the # he called me on) was a real #, who answered and what business it was... anyways the same guy (at least it sounded like him) answered the phone and wants to talk to my husband, but now his name isn't Brian White, but Officer Brian Daniels!  I thought it might be a scam, so I started checking into the phone #'s and I found these postings.  Glad I did!  My husband will not be calling him back and I will call the FTC.   in the voice mail he referenced a phone # 786-474-6023-when I checked that phone # I got the same kind of info as these postings!

Received a call from that number today. I received similar calls like that in the past. The persons calling have very heavy accents and claim they are with the Dept of Justice and such. I hope that  people won't fall for them. They usually get your info (name, phone number, even social security number) if you have applied for a payday loan or anything like that via internet. Somehow they are able to get your info and then try to scan you.

When calls like that happnend a few months ago I answered and then held the phone next to a flushing toilet. Another time I had a whistle and blew it in my phone. That sure kept them from stop calling me. Don't waste your time talking to them.

On 8/31/11 I was contacted by Mark Campbell  stating that he was from the Department of Justice and that I was in serious trouble on a loan that I suppose to have taken out and that I owned  3470.38 on  a loan between 200-500. He also told he he had my address and and information on me and I would be picked up in 24-48 hrs.  He also said that I have an email address and  my bank account # from my bank.  He also called again the next day saying that the warrant had been issued because I had loan fraud , online fraud and check fraud charges and that I would be sorry for not paying him the 3470.38 back to them on 8/31/11.  He told he also that I wasn't going to get away with these charges.  I told him that I would contact the Police Department in my hometown

Called stating she was with the Dept of Justice and that a warrant had been issued against him for non-payment.  We never took out a loan.  She gave me his SSN, address and employer.  Verified with the Sherriff's dept that there is no warrant.

i got a call from this number today, claiming it was from the dept of justice and that i had a warrant.....lmao

I just received a call at my job from this same person.  I told them that I was not available and she gave me her name and number and said for me to call her back immediately because it was urgent.  She stated she was from the Department of Justice.  So I went to whitepages.com and it said the number was a cell phone from somewhether in Florida.  The DOJ is in DC.  She had a heavy Indian accent so I highly doubt her name is really Jenny Marshall.  I have been getting lots of these calls at work and at home recently and it's really starting to get frustrating.  I can yell and scream and swear at them when I'm at home but I can't at work, which is where I REALLY hate to get these calls.  And I work at a law firm!!

This same guy just called me "John Davis" my a**!  I have not ever had a payday loan with these people and he is gonna send a federal agent to my house to arrest me.  If you could please give me information on who I should file a complaint with I would appreciate it.

i got the same thing from them calling my job,then calling my an sending an email also demanding $1550 or the sheriff's office would be issued an arrest warrant for me

This jack*** called me today and gave me a case# and told me that he was with the department of justice of lafayette and his name was john davis (yea right) , well he couldn't even say is right.. then he tells me that i had a loan that was charged off with a company, but could not tell me when i had a loan, just that it was charged off and that they were going to file charges on me for money laundrying, bank fraud, check fraud, going to call my job and arrest me.. when i asked for his phone number he gave it to me., i then called the depart. of justice in lafayette and they had no record of him that i needed to call the FBI that this was a fraud so they gave me the number, i called MR JOHN DAVIS and told him what i had done and that i was calling the FBI he ask is that all i wanted wit him and hung the phone up, i did call the FBI and they are investigating this BS scam....

I am getting threatening, harassing calls from this guy stating that I fraudulently obtained a payday loan from US Payday loan in June. I did take a payday loan that I paid back as agreed, from a totally different company. US Payday loan funded no loan for me. The rep is sating that a criminal warrant will be issued against me after 5 today. They have called several times and are threatening to notify me employer of this bogus information.

Got a call from this number, man with heavy accent says his name is David Brown and is from some legal department, and if I don't call back or make arrangements to pay some payday loan I will be arrested. Refuses to listen or ask questions, and gets angry when asked that he send me some paperwork.  I have gotten calls from this same number, different name, same message. They all become irrate when questioned.  DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM.

Got a call from Don to call back at 850-778-1013 - THIS IS A SCAM. He says hes from the "Federal Bureau of Criminal Investigation" calling about some outstanding cash advance I have. THERE IS NO SUCH ORGANIZATION!!!!! He threatens to take legal action against me if I don't pay right a way. This is about the 5 time I've heard from this guy and each time its the same story, just a different number. Everytime I just tell him he's a fraud and to quit calling me. That usually works for about 6 months or so. I've never even taken a cash advance out and will never do that. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BS!!!

I have received several calls from Michael Jones at this number.  When I spoke with him  he claims to be from the criminal investigator officers and has a warrant for an outstanding loan but does not say what company he is with and nor what company he is calling about.  He interupts constantly and will not let you finish asking questions. He kept calling me a criminal and that the authorities were coming to get me.   He sounds like a foreigner that is trying to scare people into getting payments for something they do not owe.  He is a scam artist do not give him information!!!!!!!!  I asked for proof with documents that he keeps saying he has and he just keeps saying it is being sent with a warrant.......He is a big scammer DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!

They called my job-very RUDE!!!! She said her name was Jenny Marshall-very doubtful!!!! She told me to stop interupting and started to threaten me... While Im at work she then called my cell... Something about a payday loan or something, she has all my info-ss# and everything- Im not to worried about it, Im about to put in a compliant with the BBB if possible..... WATCH OUT!!!!

This person has called my cell, my work, and my friend Jade!! Claiming to be a criminal investegator and says there is a warrant out for my arrest and if i dont call back i will be arrested within 40 hours...Oh my god retards!!!! Scam artists, how stupid do you think we are??

Some guy called once again using a different name from yesterday, yesterday he was Tom Roberts from LLC, a month ago he was Shane Adams from CPA for the same exact reason....I am being sued by the federal goverenment for a 200.00 cash advance, and that there will be federal agents coming to my house to arrest me. REALLY the federal government is going to arrest me for 200.00 get real!!!! these people are SCAM artist dont believe any thing they say they are trying to scare you! Please do not give them any information.
