It would help if posters would give the other numbers call from and left as call-back numbers so someone can try to research them!

I too  was getting a  person calling me from the  same number.   but he calls himself issac  and justin blackwell.   They are trying to say I owe someone 1886.45.  I've  called the  Florida police dept  about this guy and still going to get in touch with the police cause this guy too  was calling my job and calling my managers and co workers a  daughters bi***  and what ever.  I  am also going to call the consumer affairs about this guy as well as  call  the said mention people that was listed  above in someone  else's comments.  Very  upsetting that I'm putting my co workers  thru this.   even tho they had fun busting this guys chops back.

thank you so much i just got off the phone with police.. also i called him back and he cursed me out and called me all kinds of names also he used ALOT of profanity  he also cursed my husband out... is there a number for FBI or FTC so i can report this to them?

Yes - report the call to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  This is a scammer calling trying to frighten people into paying non-existent debt - do NOT pay him or give him any bank details!  Debt is civil, NOT criminal, so no, you are NOT going to be arrested and put in jail.  You may also want to call your bank and the three credit agencies (TransUnion, Exquifax, Experian) and have fraud alerts put on your accounts/files.

When he calls back, tell him that on the advice of your attorney (even if you don't have one) you are recording all calls he makes to you for multiple violations of the FDCPA.  Please read about the FDCPA and learn your rights as a consumer.

Bottom line - if you receive a similar call in the future, remember that no proof MAILED to you that shows you owe the debt to the caller = you owe them NOTHING.

just recieved a call from gary jones saying i committed 3 crimes because of a loan i supposedly took out but i never recieved any loan. he said that i had to pay $300 dollars or i was going to jail,, he also had all my personal info... im freaking out because i didnt do anything wrong and i dont want to go to jail.. can some one give me info to stop this guy?

@Fed Up, I got the same thing earlier today accept he was a Federal Investigator and I had 3 counts against me. I'm like what? I'm listening and the whole time I'm like something just doesnt sound right. He's been blowing up my phone all afternoon, I'm glad I checked this website out. His name is Gary Jones.

I had Mr.Frank Jones. He called my job over and over demanding to speak to me .  My job refuse to allow me to come to the phone.  This idiot keep calling for hours until he realize no one was gonna answer his numbers because they have more than one number. Be careful he is a real dummy!!!

Are you even from NJ?  I keep getting calls like that threatening me with legal actions and come to find out they are either on the other side of the country or in a completely different state that i have never been too. Its getting so aggravating.

He keeps calling my job stating hes from Nj State Investigation Unit #16 and Im being investigated for Class B Felony. I know its fraud because I have never been in trouble with the law.

This male calls my work. He informs me he is with some type of criminal unit. It just sounded funny right off. He asked to talk to a coworker, the coworker was not there at the time. I took the information and gave to coworker. This creep calls the next day at my work harassing me, my bookkeeper, my boss, basically our whole work environment. He started demeaning us, calling us names, swearing at us, keeping me away from my customers. We are after this guy big! Its time this little punk goes down. Keep going after this guy. Do everything you can. This idiot needs to be silenced. He claimed he was from, Hub International, a crime unit, and then calling us back from our own phone numbers. Lets get him, keep calling the FCC, the police dept in your area. Anyone you think can help.

Does not tell you what they want, they just keep harazzing calls to tie up your phone line. A real idiot.
